Pats are 14-0 ATS and the over...has to end at some point and Washington having the best secondary...if Rogers plays, is a perfect time to stop this ATS coverage, it is a ridiculous streak.

I do nothing but 3 team 10pt teasers for the big Money. You could tease this one either way, but the smart play is to tease Washington to 27. Pats have only beaten one team by more than 27 and that was Buffalo. Washington will try to play the Pats tough, but the Pats prevail in the end.

Pats are going to be very hard to beat this season and that's coming from a Dolphin fan.

Overall solid team. Well coached, well disciplined, well mannered, and great talent. What more can you ask for.

Very hard to go against the Pats this season so why stop now.

Still thinking about this one might just watch my Dolphins overseas on TV instead and try to enjoy my Sunday.

I usually agree with you but how do you think the Redskins are going to score 24? They have only scored that many against one team this year. Detroit whose defense ranks 30th in the league.

Washingtons offense is 25th in the league. There is no way they are scoring more than 21. I'm guessing they'll score 17.

One more thing to mention. Redskins defense is ranked 5th in the league. Patriots are ranked 4th defensively. So the whole Washington D is no worry.
 
Redskins = no offense
no offense = you can't catch the Pats

I normally don't Bet a Teaser, but I'm thinkin' I'm gonna take Pats -10.5  and tease it to 41.5 and take the over.  I know it's a sucker bet, but what the heck!  Just doing a small play there.  But I also already took Pats -16.5 for a little bit Bigger play.

I realize that any number of factors can go into someone's reasoning for betting any game, but what on earth would tell anyone to bet against the Patriots ever? 
I'm not knocking anyone for wanting to go with Washington, I'm just telling you I have no idea why you would.  Sure there's about a 0.01% chance the Pats will go 16-0 ATS this year.  If I told you they were going 14-2 would you be surprised?  Isn't it likely at this point?  So what's the point in trying to trying to find the 2 games when they don't cover when you can take them every game and go 87.5% ? 
So let's say you are taking Washington here, what's so different about this game that would make you think the Pats won't win by 4 TDs again? 
Just my theory.  Yeah, it's amateurish, but...stick with what works.

Redskins +16.5 (5 units) vs. Patriots - I can see how the Pats were giving up this many points againts the Browns, Bills, and Dolphins... but the Redskins?  The Pats are set up for a let down here, looking ahead to next weeks matchup vs. the Colts.  The Skins defense is the 2nd best, possibly the best they have seen all year (the Cowboys would be comparable).  Pats win by 13, but Skins still cover.

To remind you, the Pats beat Dallas, in Dallas by 21.

I don't hink Redskins rank 2nd defensively. You might want to look into that.

They are the worst offensive team that the Pats have had to face all year. As long as we put up some pts we should cover easily.

AFTER MY ORIGINIAL POST EARLIER IN THE WEEK...AND READING ALL YOU PEOPLE BICKER BACK AND FORTH, I STILL FEEL THE SAME WAY.  TODAY IS GOING TO BE JUST ANOTHER WONDERFUL SUNDAY IN THE WORLD OF NEW ENGLAND SPORTS.  THE PATRIOTS WILL EASILY BEAT THE REDSKINS BY 20 POINTS.  YES THE REDSKINS HAVE A DAMN GOOD DEFENSE, BUT EVEN IF THEY ARE ABLE TO STOP BRADY A LITTLE BIT, WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO ONCE THE GET THE BALL???  SANTANA MOSS HAS DONE NOTHING THIS YEAR, PORTIS HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN FOR THE MOST PART.  THEY HAVE NO WEAPONS AT ALL.  JASON CAMPBELL IS IN FOR A ROUGH DAY.

NEW ENGLAND IS  0 - 4 - 1 ATS IN THEIR LAST 5 AGAINST THE SKINS. THEY ARE 0 - 3 ATS AT HOME IN THEIR LAST 3.
THEY ARE 4 - 9 ATS OFF DD DIVISION ATS WIN.
THIS SEEMS LIKE THE APPROPRIATE SPOT FOR THE COVER STREAK TO END BUT NOT THE WINNING STREAK.
