This guy is just searching for anything he can grasp. Last week he says it's a process and will take awhile.
After 1 good round he claims to have found it. "I am catching everything flush. I can shape it both ways. I can finally hit it through the wind. "
TIGER IS BACK!!!!!
Oh wait. He sucked in rounds 2 and 3. Is it going to be a process again?? Or will it be back to the excuse of limited practice time due to the fact he now cares about his kids well being.
Tiger has lost his dominance. It used to be intimidation and hitting hit further and straighter off the tee than everyone else. The intimidation factor is fading fast. He didn't hit a single driver yesterday. He is giving up his advantage because he can no longer get off the tee. His putting has been inconsistent.
It's not a process. It's a fallen man. Just like Tyson he thinks he will get things straightened out on and off the course and things will return back to normal. IT NEVER WILL.
NEVER.

I agree VV. He'll never be what he used to be. The media just keeps hounding him about it, which is getting pretty funny. After every round more or less asking him wtf? And he says the same thing.
Question: Why would a guy with 14 major championships that's been #1 for over a decade need to "make major changes" unless his game has disappeared and he can't find it?

He is a desperate man. Not just a desperate golfer but a desperate man.
He has made a living off of crushing the ball down the fairway, sticking iron shots, and holing many many putts. This great play gave him a huge intimidation factor.
Don't be fooled. His problems aren't just off the course. He has major flaws in his game. His driver is no longer there. He's barely hit his driver all week. You know why??? Because he can't control it. Dustin Johnson is hitting his driver and is tied for 2nd. Tiger used to play that way. He no longer can. He's doing anything he can to survive. He's desperate. His iron game is still relatively strong. His putting is very average. He's switched putters. He's switched swing coaches. He's a desperate man.
After round 1 he tried to convince himself he found his stroke. He hasn't. Tyson always tried the same thing. He never got it back. Neither will Tiger. The clock is ticking. He would have broken Jack's record with everything being perfect but it would've taken some effort. It's light years from perfect and will NEVER happen now.
My Tiger hate threads will never have many responses. Why? Because accurate assessments that are hard to accept can't be argued. Unless you want to look foolish.
Some can say he's had an above average year in relation to the average golfer. Bravo. Hang onto that little trophy.
Tiger Woods as we knew him is over. He was on his way to being the greatest ever and he fucked it up. He is the greatest of the recent generation for his past accomplishments. That can't be argued. He is a shell of his former self now and will never be dominant again.
People can argue he will be again. The public will side with that argument. But when he isn't those people won't be saying shit and won't comment in these threads.
Tiger is finished as we knew him. Accept it and enjoy his downfall.

There are some truths hidden in the over the top breakdown of Tiger.. Truth... Tiger will never return to the complete dominance of his younger years.. Hard to keep up that pace for any athlete in any sport.. He was on a pace to SHATTER every record in golf.. No way to keep up that pace forever especially with the talent that now is on the Pro tour with all the young unknown but talented International players.. He will now just finish playing and breaking IMO every record in golf (has a ton of them already) over the rest of his golf life which is many many more years to come at a slow steady pace.. Ever be old Tiger again .. Doubt it.. Done ... 'not so fast my friend".. Myth... He hits it shorter then these young kids so he cant win.. Truth.. Sure not as long but he won golf tourneys with his PUTTER not his driver.. Always hit it all over the park but his putter saved him.. When he hit the driver straight it was game over for the field.. Since the orgins of the PGA the long hitters were always a show but did not win the dough.. Still the same today.. Justin... JB.. Got some wins but in big time majors ..well... Tiger is in the bottom 100 putting ... Does he have the yips.. Look at the stroke it still is pure .. may not be perfect right now but the yips to young for the yips..If he does not improve putting you will be right.. Good luck with that.. Next year this personel life thing will be a distant memory and he will just be another divorced PGA golfer.. Then lets see.. Myself rooting for Tiger.. Screw the bluebloods.. He is good for golf like him or hate him.. As a golfer feel like watching Tiger was like watching Jordan growing up just lucky to be alive to witness the feats they performed.. Show my young nephew tape on Jordan all the time when he asks about him as he never had the pleasure of watching him live.. I did and enjoyed it.. Same with Tiger..

Golf at the level these guys play is a game beyond the public's real comprehension every guy on tour has the shots really it's the mental edge that makes the truly great great. Longevity, pure time is the only judge of who will be and who won't for thoses that do not follow the senior tour take a look, everyone of them is already ahead of Tiger in their mental ability to play the game and in their contributions to the game. Respect your elders, life is a long process if your lucky and so is golf. Who Tiger was is a matter of interpetation really his striking ability has always been above par but his mental game is what brought him out in such flash and maybe he will never be as long as he was but if he can turn on that switch again he will stand above the rest and I for one do bot believe it has one thing to do with his physical game or conditioning, the zen of golf is not compatable with HGH thats all a big line of shit.

As someone said in a post before. Explain Lebron and Kobe when they have bad games. Kobe missed 20 shots in game 7 of the NBA finals.
Everyone has bad performances. Explain please
Just shows you how far you are reaching when you try to find similarities in 2 completely different sports. One thing I do see is Kobe has a ring this year. Where's Tiger's???
Congrats on the solid year. His game is dogshit.

Bad performances are something EVERYONE has in EVERYTHING you do. So don't go around here and try to cover up the bullshit two different sports thing. Straight OWNED.
Kobe missed over 15 shots in the GAME'S BIGGEST GAME. You just can't defend yourself for that. It's just like Tiger blowing a big lead on the final day of a major.
Tiger is having a solid year. I have the facts to prove that.......

Kobe missed 15 shots in the biggest game YET STILL WON. Tiger missed 15 putts in the final round of the Masters. He didn't win shit.
But I wouldn't be dumb enough to actually believe the comparison between Kobe and Tiger. Tiger would love to blow a lead on the final day of a major. Why? Because he would at least have the lead for once.
Tiger's game in 2010 has been dogshit.

The No. 1 player in the world should win, wouldn't you think?
Why? Winning would be great but he does not have too. Tiger has mainted the number 1 rankings for the entire year of 2010 despite Phil winning the masters.
Tiger is having a solid year of golf

Hate to do this in front of everyone here but I have too.
You just have offically made the DUMBEST POST IN COVERS HISTORY.
Golf is a individual sport that's judged upon individual results. Baseketball is a team sport. When comareing Kobe and Tiger, do it the right fucken way moron. Kobe's game 7 performance was quite close to be straight disgraceful.
All I ask is please again please. Kobe had a teriable individual performance in the GAME'S BIGGEST GAME. I just can't hear for a excuse for Kobe now
I have aboslute no idea what those highlighted words mean. No clue at all
