Payton loses $6M in salary. This possibly may be the stupidest way I've ever seen for someone to lose $6M.
The players are all in a union, how the fuck can you pay someone to intentionally hurt someone in your union?
The absolute ridiculous part is we're talking about a chump change bounty system here for people that make $millions of dollars a year. If you make $3M a year, your game check is $187,500. Are you telling me that you'd get excited over $1,000, $1,500 or even $5000? wtf?
I agree 100%.... Williams should have just given a plaque for good hits and a trophy for knockouts and we wouldnt have this issue.... because none of these guys cared about the $1000 for a good hit or $1500 for a knockout... if they actually were trying harder, it was for the prize, not the money... honestly, anything probably could have been given and they would have played the same. |

Since the NFL is wanting to be so High and Mighty.... why are they not donating all of the profits to charity or back to the fans that were made from selling Saints Gear, Tickets, etc during these bounty years? Come on Rodger... Step up... this happened in your League... shouldnt you take any of the blame? You should have caught it sooner...
Also, what about the other teams that Williams coached for that had the bounty systems... why are they not being punished? Dungy said that it was probably Williams that started Mannings Neck problems when Williams was coaching for the Redskins... Why arnt those teams losing their head coaches for a season and losing draft picks and being fined? Come on... lets be fair Rodger. |

Man this is a tough game to me... the more i am letting it sink in, the more i think that NE should win this game... its brady for crying out loud... there is no question that he is better than Eli... I might not even play the superbowl because I dont know what to do... im kind of leaning towards the under on the game though... maybe ill just play the total |

Im not questioning the stat because I havent done any research on it, but you are saying that out of the last 15 years, 9 superbowls have had a wildcard team in them? I sure wouldnt have thought that |

Just an update... I am still leaning towards NYG... Lines are moving a little away from me... I am taking a chance and hoping that some money will start to go on the pats to bring it back to +3(-110) bc on my book it is currently +3(-125).... I won't make that my official pick until I place... But that's what I want right now NYG +3

Yea and they didnt make any favorable calls for SF? how about that punt where the giants should have gotten a TD(they ended up getting it anyway but they had to work for it)? instead they called it back to the spot of the turnover... since when cant you advance a muffed punt? |

I am sad to even post my playoff record, but it is a a pathetic 5-9 Season Total (Including playoffs) is 36-27-3 I am still up for the season, but not like I was before the postseason started..... My current lean is the Giants. I feel they are a better team overall. Do I think their offense is as good as the Pats? No..... Do I think that their def is good enough to slow down the Pats enough to allow Eli to score more than Brady? Yes. Giants already won this same game on the road this season. I understand it was a last minute drive by the Giants with a TD that happened 18 seconds(I think) before the end of the game... But they still beat NE in their own back yard.... This time they will be on neutral ground and Eli has already proven that he can win a Superbowl...Against NE in fact. A lot of people are saying that there is no way that the Giants will beat NE again, not a 3rd time in a row... My question is why? Does anyone really think NE is that good? The first team NE beat with a winning regular season record this year was Balt, and that game came down to a final 32 yard FG that was missed by Balt... By all means, that FG should have been good and the game should have went to OT.. And we might have a different game for the Superbowl. I understand why the Pats are giving points, hell it is Tom Brady.. If it was a pick, the plays would be mostly on the Pats…. But should NE really be favored in the game? I really don’t think so, but this was the only way to get even plays for both sides. I think that if the Giants were favored by a little, I would actually still be leaning on the Giants… I think they should win this game outright and getting 3 points is a gift. Maybe it is bait as well. I don’t know. So this is where my head is currently at... I might change my mind... I might place soon or I might wait to see if the line will move in my favor... I will post it as soon as I play it.... And hopefully I will finish the season off much better than I have been doing the rest of the post season. BOL Everyone |
