i think in 2005, I was telling all my college roommates that Jalen Rose was having a great season on Toronto, with Chris Bosh. Anyway we were down big with the bookie. Random Sunday morning (last day) we bet big on Toronto (due to my coaxing). Anyway Rose buried the game winner (they were a small home underdog i think). After me saying Rose would be the hero the entire game, not knowing it would actually happen. No one made a sound except me when he hit the shot. Then I laughed for about 5 minutes straight and they all sat in complete silence with no expression.

game on 12/31 completely missed vs Cleveland, it's not on their schedule, how did they miss a game? need to use ESPN and other sources to verify the schedule is correct

how often do they do shit like this? you could bet a game because the team has more rest, and find out that Covers isn/t including all the games they played

don't bet big on this team, they could easily cover but Purdy is trash and the team is playing shit,

covers has definitely been dropping the ball on injuries lately. Use The Score app matchup page to get a an idea of who is Questionable/Doubtful, then you can check the lineups on Rotowire 30 min before the game starts (but small market games may not be there). Don't just rely on covers because they have been wrong on many games recently

what's happening here? is someone sitting out for Cleveland? 2 point drop in spread and total recently

covers, pregame and action network all post consensus picks, but none of them are accurate, its better to use the forum and gauge it yourself

 keep a bankroll aside just for gambling, limit yourself to a maximum every year. If you lose, you're done till next year. Never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on 1 game, average bet should be 1-2%. practice more self disclipline, sometimes i's hard to just lay off the game, but sometimes that's the best play, there will be another game tomorrow or next week.

It's getting to be an every 6 month thing, who's idea is this to make contact changes? is this to make handicapping harder? 

I don't understand how NY winning has anything to do with this game. Don't the Celtics want to win too, to avoid elimination? Didnt they beat a better Golden STate team on the road in the finals last year to avoid elimination?
