Looking for clarification prior to inputting a bet.  My book has England at +180 and Italy at +191 on the ML, there is also a draw option.

Now correct me if I am wrong, but for argument sake, I put 500 on both England and Italy ML at the above mentioned odds, how can I possibly lose?  If the game is tied after 90 mins, does that result in the ML bet being a loser? 

I just put in to see a 2 team parlay, involving Spain/England, Spain/Italy and both come out to over $1000 on a 250 bet. 

So basically, if the game is tied after 90 mins, do the ML bets become a loser, regardless who wins in OT and or Shootout?

Been a Red Wing fan for years so there is always homer team bias, however, for years, we have been dazzled by Pavel Datsyuk and it only appears this guy is getting better.  He is lost in the shuffle of the big names in the NHL because he doesnt produce the points like Crosby, Ovie, Sedins but if anyone appreciates the game of hockey, we need to give Datsyuk some consideration for being the best player in the game right now.

Defensively, he is a stud.  He understands the importance of the back-check and knows where the pass is going even before the person making it does.  HIs hard work and ethics are second-to-none.  He is a little guy, yet plays like a giant. Not frequently, but he doesnt mind taking a healthy run at someone along the boards and doesnt administer a fair amount of hurt in his checks.  He has some grit, showed by his fight earlier this year with Perry, and his quality right shot last night.   He is the absolute king of the take-away, we havent seen anything like it before.  His relentless pursuit of the player with the puck is highlighted by a perfectly time lifting of the stick and off the other way he goes.  He is unselfish, always looking to find the open man, and some will argue he holds the puck too long, well thats all part of his genius.  He can suck in as many as 2 or 3 guys with one possession which leaves his teammates open which he finds consistently. 

And without a doubt, the best pleasure Datyuk gives us hockey fans is his complete offensive package.  Tell me a player who can stop on a dime, go the other direction, without losing momentum, that other player just doesnt exist.  He can deek around 3 guys in a span of 5 feet, with one or two quick shuffles of his stick.  

I can go on forever about Pavel, but I think its about time the media puts Pavel on the tops of their list of Who is the Best right now!

I guess I am answering my own question, but do you like Texas TT over 3.5 with all your love for them to win the game?

No runs scored 5 units at -120

Seeing a bit of love for both Ogando and Morrow, some uncertainty as well, but seeing a low total for the game, I will take the guess Vegas likes the under as well.  Good enough for me to assume the runs wont start until the 3rd inning, similar to last nights game.

I dont need to put out stats, trends, historical information.  This is a gut feeling and although Pittsburgh has performed well without their big 2, they are going to feel the loss come Game 1.  This will be the first time the Penguins enter the playoffs without their stars, and although nobody can predict how they will react, I just cannot see how they can keep up with Tampa.   Tampa, has to not worry about Crosby or Malkin - how to contain them, they can just go out and play run and gun.  The Penguins will not be able to keep up and will eventually fizzle into the golf season.  If Crosby is smart, he will call it a year.  But if he chooses to come back, he will have a huge X on his back to give him a good shot.

Already have placed 5 units on Texas RL...and looking to play another 5 units on a player prop.  Assuming a big Texas win today, hopefully atleast, so would assume the Texas players will out perform those of the Tigers...here are the odds I am getting with my local.

Point System:

1 - Single, 2 - Double, 3 - Triple, 4 - Homerun

I am liking Kinsler after only going 1 for 4 yesterday, perhaps having a big day at the plate.

Taking a 1st inning, no score for this game at 5 units.  I am not a detailed analyst like most of you folk, but reading the various threads about the game, consensus appears two good pitchers are taking the mound, which in my eyes, typically means a clean 1st inning.  God knows I have been wrong before!

Top of the afternoon Gents,

With just a few playing days left in the season, I am trying a new system to see if there is any success in it.  It requires zero research, and really is a crap shoot and ultimately your betting 1 to win 2, so a high percentage of wins needs to come in.

Basically what I am trying is playing all RL/Alt RL where I get a value of +180 or greater on both sides.   You will only get a few per night, if any, and tonight I have only found one.

LAA -1.5 +190

Oak - 1-5 +195

I am risking 5 units on each.  With hopes either team wins by 2 to take +4units on LAA and +4.75 units on OAK.

This is the first time I have tried something, no idea if it works or if its suicide.
