I think golfers opinion is what everyone is thinking, including myself Tuesday morning after the Bengals got spanked. I really think my Brownies show up tomorrow. Yes, Weeden looked terrible with the 4 ints. But, one was off of the stone hands of Little, and 2 of the others were just great plays by the cbs of philly down the sidelines.

I think Brandon improves on his 5 rating (god i hope so), and TRich shows why he was a 1st rnd draft pick. Low scoring game. Defense keeps it close again, and Browns pull of the W with a late turnover. Browns 16 Bengals 13

As a traveling sales rep, I get bored from time to time. So, as Christmas approaches (March Madness), I like to analyze numbers. Sure, you could get away with calling me a complete douche at this time.

So, I bascially went back over the last 5 tournaments, and focused solely on the 1-4 seeds and how they faired in the first round. Here you go:

ATS (since the 2006-2007 tourney)

1 vs. 16: #1 seeds have gone 14-6, winning by an average of 6.63 points above the point spread

2 vs. 15: #2 seeds have gone 11-8-1, winning by an average of 1.03 points above point spread

3 vs. 14: #3 seeds have gone 14-6, winning by an average of 2.77 points above point spread

4 vs. 13: #4 seeds have gone 11-9, with the DOG actually winning by an average of 0.30 points above point spread

I like to play 10pt. teasers:

#16 seeds have gone 1-19 vs. the spread +10pts

#15 seeds have gone 2-18 vs. the spread +10pts

#14 seeds have gone 1-19 vs. the spread +10pts

#13 seeds have gone 5-15 vs. the spread +10pts

Food for thought. There's definetely some value in the #13 seeds for those of you who play teasers.

I think the #7 rushing attack has a lot to do with the MAC conference play. Here's their schedule played this year along with that team's rushing D:

Iowa State 88th, Illinois 33rd, Minnesota 94th, Akron 74th, Temple 35th, Buffalo 70th, Central Mich 84th, Western Mich 76th, Toledo 41st, Ball St 75th, Eastern Mich 119th, Miami(OH) 32nd.

They lost vs Illinois & Miami(OH), but won at home against Temple. Outside of that they haven't beaten anyone. And, when they've gone against a decent rush defense they've struggled.

Listen, NIU had a wonderful season, but damn the MAC is awful. I'm also a little worried about how the team is going to play without Coach Kill leaving to coach at Minnesota.

It's not by any means a large play for me, but I like Fresno in this spot. Good luck with your plays.
