I didn't realize until kickoff how politcally and emotionally charged Brazil actually is right now. Brazil had to win or Brazil would have tore itself apart tonight. Brazil wanted it, Spain and FIFA were happy to oblige.

Brazil played an amazing game, Spain didn't even show up.  Almost want to say FIFA and Spain did Brazil a favor today.  What would have happened if Brazil lost today admist the already delicate political situation there? They needed to win this game for more reasons than just futbol. 26 fouls committed not a single booking not even for a foul in the box are you kidding me?

Think in the long run winning today will be bad for brazil in the Cup that matters. A whole year of non compettive matches believing that your play is perfect equals not meeting expectations next summer.

Never know what could happen.
