Besides the money... why do you do it?
You don't need the extra money from betting, so why do it? What other reason do you have for doing it besides the money? |

Is there a website that shows the records of each MLB team at the all-star break for the past 10 years? Of course googling it is the way, but I tried that and it came up with random sites, blogs, and forums with information on certain years, but I couldn't find just one official site with all the information. If any of you know one site that has all the MLB records at all-star break, let me know. Thanks! |

I notice all kinds of elaborate systems out there, but my question is...... why not just pick one MLB team that is -130 or higher that's playing at home, and put a 6 game chase on it. They rarely ever lose 3 games in a row, let alone 6. Does this simple system like this eventually go bad?

chaser15,
Boston just won a home series, and is now starting another home series, and you have them as a play. I'm thinking you have them as a play because they still have at least 5 games at home. If that's the case, then shouldn't Minnesota be a play for today? |

chaser15, doing great! How many seasons have you tracked this?

ChristNYC was the only one. My main point I'm trying to get across is....... if a team, especially a dog getting a whopping 7 pts, is playing just as good for the first 10 minutes of a game, that most UNBIAS cappers would think the dog would cover. The key word is "UNBIAS". |

In most cases, after the first 10 minutes of the game, the favorite team is being outplayed, plus is giving 6.5 points, I think most people are thinking that Michigan was going to most likely end up covering. Live betting is different. I'm just talking about just a straight bet before the game. Lots of teams come back and cover, but I'm talking about what people were probably thinking during the first 10 minutes of the game. |

So what you all are telling me is.......
that when Michigan was winning earlier in the game, and on top of that was getting 6.5 points, you're telling me that if you could turn around and put your money on Michigan instead at that moment, you wouldn't have?!?!?!? Sure the game takes 40 minutes to play. And I've seen teams come back from double digit down and win games, but that's not the case most of the time. And as gamblers, you are picking teams based on what you think will most likely to happen. So again, what you all are telling me....... is that when Michigan was winning the game, if the bookie told you that you could switch your bet to Michigan, and on top of that, you'd also have the +6.5, you wouldn't have? I think you all would have switched that bet knowing that most of the time when a team is playing as well as Michigan was and had the lead, plus on top of that, was getting 6.5 pts, in most cases, the team covers. Am I wrong? |

First off, I did not bet on this game. Also I'd like to say congratulations to all who bet on Nova!!!
But be honest..... when Michigan was winning earlier in the game, you thought Villanova was most likely not going to cover the spread? Maybe pull out the win, but not cover? |

By the way, I didn't bet on this game. I was just wondering what you all thought. Great game.
