Crazy NBA has been fucking burying me since last week. Thank God for the Celtics----Back to what I think I do best--
Central Mich -3 2 units
-Miami Ohio? Remember how they played at their first primetime showing? Not a big fan of laying action on MAC games-but I see some value here.
Tenn 7.5 2 units
LSU has not blown out any of the upper tier SEC teams this year, Flynn a game time decision, all this talk of coaches sniffin out new jobs for next year, all recipes for disaster. Usually I hate bettin Tennessee, but now's a good a time as any. They've been playin good ball, and Tigers tuff loss last week will still be lingering around.
WVU-28 2 units
WVU needs to keep the train rolling. Too late in the year for a collapse by this team. Pitt has no way of keeping this close barring a major letdown, and I just can't see it happening.
North Texas -2
Garbage game of the year? No, just figured I take the small spread against a winless team. Hoping win last week at the Mean Green's final home game of the season can carryover to a FLAINTL squad that can't wait for this game to end? Here goes nothin...

Portland will have no answer for Orlando. Orlando has proven to be very focused team, reliable road wager thus far-Portland gives me no reason to think they will cover 5-or maybe even up to 11-13 for that matter. They have no size on that team-D Howard will dominate-we're only talkin 2.5 buckets here-All over this-Great value in spread-I think Orlando is a little under the radar still-only losses to SA,PHEONIX,DET-handled every body else good,Portland just broke their slide, loss of a sense of urgency/desperation will be noticed.

Wondering if you guys saw the GSW game on Friday night-they couldn't outgun the Sixers-let alone Nash and Co.I would put this line at 9 or 10- a couple of road wins against a couple of Eastern conference teams doesn't mean they can bang with W.Conf. bigs. Pheonix is well rested and annhilating teams. I also have picked up a trend that seems to apply to lower tier teams, (GSW), that they tend to throw up duds first game back after long road trip, especially East-West trips, especially after winning campaigns. When they matchup against superior teams, they get overvalued, and pounded alot. I personally am on Pheonix in a big reverse with Orlando tonight.

What a f-in week I had. Tonight we'll close out strong and bury the books-I,m definitely feelin it.
Was down 5.5 units into Sunday, but dug deep into the bag of teasers for some solid gold with Oak,SD,Den,Pats over. Couple of nice straight hits, like Giants over, Arizona Over, and Cleveland -3. Also lost on Tennesee-what the fuck happened there? and on Denver straight-again what the fuck.
Last minute switch to Eagles gettin 24 thanks to an article here on covers, which pointed out the games in which NE did NOT cover 24, as well as the point that the line was slightly over inflated due to a ton of NEW bettors ridin the train.
I also DID believe they had a better chance with Feeley than McNabb, based only on the fact that this is not the first time this team has weathered yet another McNabb issue and came out swingin, hittin people in the mouth.
I HAD NO IDEA THEY WOULD COME THAT CLOSE. I really was hoping for a good game, I am an Eagles fan, by the way, and I thought I was crazy putting anything on them. I had no plans of picking a side in this game, only the total, til I read that article- Go Birds-Cowboys SUCK
With all that being said, here goes tonight, I,m plus 4 units, my week ends tonight-time to make some fuckin green
Utah-5 at NYK
Utah seems to be developing into a very strong contender again in the West, that win at Detroit pretty impressive to me. Knicks are an absolute joke, Utah is playing sick D with a mind to win some road games, where they are around .500 I think. Only way Knicks come close is if Utah is disinterested, which is highly unlikely. Predicting a pounding in the Garden tonight. UTAH -4 units
ALL OR NOTHING REVERSE
When/If Utah hits I,m reversin Pheonix/Orlando (4 unit Reverse)
ORLANDO -5 AT PORTLAND is a huge mismatch, not sure why the line is only 5. I know Portland has beat a couple big timers at home already. But I have been on or against both of these squads with nice success lately, and Portland has no answer for D.Howard, or the outside shooting when Howard gets doubled. Magic seem to be a pretty focused road squad based on previous results. Young team on the rise, still a little under the radar, good value in this spread.
PHEONIX-5.5 AT GSW
Very confused with this spread also. I have high respect for Pheonix as an excellent investment, but the spreads are usually a little high for my tastes. Line automatically has value based on talent alone. Pheonix on day's rest after nice back to back home wins, towards current 8 game roll. No injuries reported as of right now. GSW on first game back, after 5 game East Coast swing. One day's rest, last game against the Sixers-which I watched in it's entirety-was a hard fought overtime win against a hapless Sixers team that couldn't hold a lead on a high school team sometimes. GSW will still be tired-they looked worn down early and late against Philly-and Pheniox will smother them. I believe GSW have value against lower level teams-but not Pheonix tonight.Could also be a beating.
Some nights it seem too easy.. and it ends in disaster, or a fuckin spankin for the book-I never run from these. I,ll keep posting in NBA from time to time.

2-2 for the week, but in the green for 4 units. 5 units last night on GSW, 2 units on SA. Gonna start posting a thread everyday. Wanna send some respect to BillyB-just started reading your threads, you put out some good shit man, lets keep rollin. Gonna ride with LAL and Detoit tonight. Here we go":
LAL- playing on back to back nights, so are the Bucks. Bucks just got the Cleveland monkey off their back, but they now run into a hot LAL team that knows how to win on the road. Lakers definitely have the edge on defense, and are getting contributions from everybody-which combined with Kobe make them a tough opponent. LAL -1.5 2 units
DET- coming off back to back road losses, on 2 days rest. Knicks were smoked last night, all kinds of drama with this team-I live near NY, listen to all the local shit, and this team is in big trouble. They don;t play defense, they don't have any heart, and the coach is terrible. I highly doubt he'll be around too much longer. I can only imagine the mood on the team plane last night after being demolished at home amid all the boos and chants of "Fire Isiah". Don;t like the high number, but I like the situation.
Detroit -12 1 unit
Good luck everybody

1-2 last night-memphis under, portland, orlando. Gonna rebound tonight with GSW and SA. GSW finallly winning a couple after a brutal schedule to start season, should bounce the confused Knicks all over the Garden. I have lost both times I bet against Atlanta at home, but for some reason I can't stay away, takin SA, they obviously are the better team. ATL will be without Acie Law and Speedy Claxton, so I,ll take my shot to break the trend. Good luck.

I have been checking out this site daily for a while, but I don't post much. I have been hitting about 60 %, up 20 units for the season across all sports since football started. I am gonna try to post my picks everyday and add to the conversation- I always appreciate everybodys input. Got slammed on NFL this weekend, but was able to regroup on the Pats last night, I should have just waited all week for that game, those fuckin Pats are just crazy. Stayin off this one tonight, gonna ride over to the NBA. I like Portland at Charlotte gettin 5.5. Portland beat Det, Dallas, and NO at home, but have yet to beat anybody on the road this season. They traveled to Denver on no rest and got smoked, blew a 20plus point lead at Philly on 1 day, got smoked next day at Washington. This last game of the road trip should be the one to get the road monkey off their back, or at least cover-buy it up to 6. Also like Mem-Sea under 218. 3 of 18 games played these two played in have went over this number, one was an overtime game. I don't think either team will shoot a high enough % to break the number tonight. Good luck everybody.

Just hit the Mavericks for 4 units. Thankfully, I also layed off the Sixers, who just missed. I like VT in this one.I will buy it to 3, or 3.5 maybe. GT without both RBs, and a staple of their O-line. VT will be attacking. Not to say the VT offense is anything more than mediocre, but you gotta like them getting the points. They had control of the BC game, and lost it in a hurry. However, with only one conference loss, they are very much in the hunt for the conference title. This is a must win game on national TV. GT is 2-3 in conference, and with the injuries to key players, I don't know if they got enough fight in them.Maybe the crowd keeps it close early, but VT defense takes over in the end. Only other game VT lost was week 2 at LSU. Takin VT for 2 units.

I know it's the first game-and anything can happen. But for some crazy reason, I think Dallas is a stone cold lock. King James openly criticizing the lack of improvement in the offseason. Varejo and Pavlovic holding out. Neither are even in the country. Pavlovic was just signedk, but Varejo is not. He isn't a really a lights out player-hence the lack of offers from other teams-but if you watched the Cavs at all last year, you saw the energy he brought to the table and how important he is to the Cavs. Dallas will be pissed off now, tomorrow, and all year. Best record in the NBA and they were trounced out of the playoffs. Good teams come back with fire in this spot, and Lebron alone aint enough tonight. Josh Howard not playing for Dallas, but I don't see it as a huge issue. Buy a half, get Dallas minus 3. I split last night-SA and Utah. Playing Dallas for two units-might play the Sixers for 1. Good luck

I haven't posted in a while, but gotta give my opinion for this game. First-Teabag you are absolutely right, a lot of idiots just yappin away on these threads, you really have to sift through the garbage for some good input-like from yourself and the guys you mentioned. Second-after two weeks of gettin pounded, I hit the book over the head this week, almost like I could do no wrong, so I'm wary of this week, but I feel too damn good right now. I like the Colts gettin all these points, and will probably buy a half or a whole point for the whole game. 6 point home dogs already, wonder how high it might go? NE most impressive road win was against the stinkin Cowboys, and that game was a whole lot tighter than the final. How about the dolphins gettin close to that spread and scoring 28 points? It ain't like the Pats were just LETTING them score. That dome will be rockin like never before, there is quite a recent history between these teams. NE hasn't had to play in that environment yet this year. Pats have not played any team that can score like the Colts-and Peyton is at his best in that dome. I thought the line should be closer to 3.5, but the public interest in the Pats is keepin this line where it is, if not higher. Most people probably think they are getting a deal for the Pats givin only a TD. Not me-I,m buying a hook or a whole and relaxin. Good luck on all your plays.

Been here for a few years, just recently started posting. I always like the home dog in Thursday night games, unless there is an obvious disparity in talent. That is not the case here. Took WF at +6. FSU hasn't been that impressive to be a 6 point favorite in my opinion. I just started a web site to dick around a little bit, you guys should check it out. Its thewtfpost.com. Just a little sports opinion, my personal picks, some naked broads, and links to other shit. Let me know what you think if you ever check it out.

Navy's only road win this year was at Temple, who barely draw any fans. The only other road game for Navy was at Rutgers, where they lost by 17. Would lean towards a desperate Pitt team to put together a decent game. Light play just cause I can't help myself.
