Mia front 7 MIGHT be better, but who has the better OL? Yes, losing 2 guards will hurt for a few weeks.
The league will soon find out about P Taylor, A Rubin, D Bryant, B Winn, J Hughes, P Kruger, DQ Jackson, J Sheard etc... |

Do not underestimate the Browns front 7. The Dolphins might not find the endzone week 1.

I might be looking thru my orange tinted glasses but I think it's our turn. How many times have you seen a worst to first? Of course that is very difficult in the brutal AFC North. An AFC east team will not scare these Browns. When was the last time a Super Bowl winner came from there?

Got 5 wins with Shurmur last year, any other coach gets 7. Added Kruger, Bryant, Groves, Owens, Bess, Mingo. Another year of improvement for good young players: Richardson, Gordon, Taylor, Sheard, Benjamin, Little, Schwartz. Pro Bowlers remain: Thomas, Hayden, Mack.
Miami coming in to Cleveland giving 2, I don't see it. Where are they better? Cleveland has a great front 7, good OL, good WRs an TEs, good RBs. You can not underestimate the difference in Chud and Turner vrs Shurmur. Horton will soon be a head coach too. |

Chiefs were not ready and the Browns defense is for real. Only gave up 127 yards the last 3 quarters. Overcame the 80 yard TD run on the first play just like they overcame the Pittsburgh pick 6 on the 3rd play of the game last week. Be careful Washington, it's gonna be PHYSICAL in Cleveland...

The Browns points allowed the last 7 games:
Oak 17 Pitt 14 Dal 23 Bal 25 SD 6 Ind 17 Cin 24 (3 or 4 playoff bound teams in those 7 games)

I understand playing for a teammate on short notice, but as the truth sets in, how will they respond this week? Browns are playing tough now. Defense is physical and sound, offense is coming together with young skill players hitting their stride. Thinking the Cheifs have a crazy week and come unprepared on Sunday. Line already up to 6, did I miss the boat? |

I bet every dog yesterday, went 7-8-1 (did not buy any points). Lines are small, they put mid majors against each other, which loses value. Been doing this for years, for fun. Always pulling for the dark shirts. Usually win a little. Dogs are huge in the Elite 8. |

What happened? Opened -1.5, now plus 2. Was -1 yesterday at this time.

A lot of talk about vegas needing NE to win because higher %s are betting on NYG. If 60% bet $1,000,000 on NYG and 40% bet $1,000,000 on NE, money is balanced, %s do not matter.

The last time these two teams played in the Bowl, Mr Bator was posting the whole week. He loved NE -12.

Right, Detroit has the advantage in a two-way tie. Not sure about a 3-way tie. If one of the 7-7 teams win out, a 3-way tie is possible. I'm guessing Dallas wins a 3-way tie with the best conf. record. I doubt Atlanta will lose to TB next week, but you never know. And yeah, Dallas will be fired up for some revenge against a divisonal opponent either way. So, Dallas is playing to win. Looking forward to a great game. |

No. If Giants win, winner of Dallas / Giants game will have at least 9 wins. If Giants win, the Eagles are done. Quote Originally Posted by jerseyboy13:

It means something because, if they beat Phi, they can lose to the Giants next week and still have a shot at the wildcard. Of course they would prefer to beat the Giants next week and win the division. But, you don't give up on the wildcard. |

Chicago is 7-7 playing Green Bay. Seattle is 7-7 playing San Fran. Arizona is 7-7 playing Cinn. Atlanta plays on Monday, after Dallas. Detroit plays at 4pm, same time as Dallas. Dallas plays to win. |

A lot of talk about the Cowboys / Eagles game at 4pm being meaningless if the Giants win at 1pm. Don't think so. A win gives Dallas a great 7-4 NFC record. That is better than all other wildcard hopefuls. If Dallas wins and San Diego beats Detroit and New O beats Atlanta....then, all are 9-6. Dallas is 7-4 in NFC, Det is 6-5, Atlanta is 6-5.

Not sure about all the crazy wildcard tiebreakers. Dallas lost to Detroit and Arizona. Dallas beat Seattle. Dallas did not play Atlanta. So if it comes down to Dallas and Atlanta at 9-7, Dallas would get the wildcard. |
