That Rams defense that "isn't as good as the Eagles", just held the Saints to under 300 total yards in the Superdome.  They've allowed 49 yards rushing per game at 2.3 per carry while facing Zeke Elliott, Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram.  They allow under 220 yards passing per game in games that Talib has started.  I think their defense will be very good on Sunday.

First...and hate to poke holes in your stellar analysis skills and attention to detail, but I didn't bring up Madden.  Your 18 year old disciple did.  I laughed about it.

And yeah...The Rams shut down Michael Thomas, knowing the Saints had Kamara and Ingram in the backfield.  The Chiefs have been playing with one flat tire since they lost Hunt.  Let's see how the Pats do shutting down Cooks/Woods and Gurley/Anderson at the same time.

I'm not comparing Reynolds to Edelman.  I'm responding to the comment that Reynolds isn't as good as Patterson or Dorsett.  Just pointing out that Reynolds is one TD behind your stud WR.

Two games is not a credible sample size.  The Rams run defense is allowing 49 yards rushing and 2.3 yards per carry in their last two games.  Facing damns good RBs.  No sense in the Patriots trying to run, right?

First of all...Safeties are DBs so they get factored in when you make a statement comparing the DBs of the Rams and Patriots.  The Pats have Gilmore who is an All Pro.  The Rams have players at every secondary position including Nickel (no punt intended).

Josh Reynolds has more TDs than every receiver on the Patriots, except Edelman...and he's only one behind Edelman.

Objectivity...Like the Rams missing Aqib Talib for 8 games and still ranking 8 spots higher in pass defense than the Patriots?  

Oh and they average 25 fewer passing yards per game allowed in games that Talib plays.
