The dreaded 4 yard slant to Edelman. I'm sure that one has McVay up at night. I'm much more worried about the Patriots 2 yard run into the pile. The Patriots two best offensive players combined are older than Wade Phillips. You guys are in big trouble tomorrow. |

Before the season started I thought the Rams had the best team in the NFL and I’m sticking with it

That Rams defense that "isn't as good as the Eagles", just held the Saints to under 300 total yards in the Superdome. They've allowed 49 yards rushing per game at 2.3 per carry while facing Zeke Elliott, Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram. They allow under 220 yards passing per game in games that Talib has started. I think their defense will be very good on Sunday.

First...and hate to poke holes in your stellar analysis skills and attention to detail, but I didn't bring up Madden. Your 18 year old disciple did. I laughed about it. And yeah...The Rams shut down Michael Thomas, knowing the Saints had Kamara and Ingram in the backfield. The Chiefs have been playing with one flat tire since they lost Hunt. Let's see how the Pats do shutting down Cooks/Woods and Gurley/Anderson at the same time. You said you weren't going to reply again, then replied immediately. Just thought I'd point that out as well. |

The second best receiver ever in postseason history in catches and Reynolds enters the conversation? Some people struggle.....wow!Next: you wanna give Peters credit? For what? He’s a hot head who is awful. He’s been exposed multiple times this year. Over under 1.5 penalties in him Sunday? I will take the over. Thank you. As for Talib, how many games has he played this year? Hmmmmm. Didn’t he play for the Patriots? I wonder if Belly knows his weaknesses? Rhetorical question. In case the uneducated haven’t watched the Patriots over the year, they play as a unit and understand their role. Sooooooo many focusing on the sexy names of Suh, Donald, Peters and Talib yet what about Flower me and Hightower and Ching and McCourty? Throw in Gilmore an all pro. These guys have been there and they play a system. Along with that system, they have the best defensive kind that’s every graced the sport. This isn’t being one sided either. It’s there....yet the big names rule I guess. It’s unfortunate this is hard for people to understand...... What exactly is my hidden agenda? |

Oh and they average 25 fewer passing yards per game allowed in games that Talib plays. Bad news dude...The Madden simulation has the Rams winning! Not too late to get on the bandwagon. |

Running game in the last two games isn’t close. Look at the time of possession. What about DBs? It’s close but I see no edge. QB play? We don’t need to go there. Coaching? It’s the Patriots. NOBODY is talking about the O line of the Patriots and nobody is talking about the collective unit of the Patriots. Look....at....the....tape. People want to point to the end of the Chiefs game and say the Patriots defense was a sieve. Ok....but show me a team who garbage down the Chiefs for 3 quarters the way the Pats did. What does the media tell all the sheep to believe? 1. They keep bringing up the % of tickets and $ on the Patriots. Well....again, what do the idiots expect here? Are we surprised the Patriots are getting all the money and tickets? It’s basically a 3 point line! Notice how the line didn’t budge when they played the Falcons? It stayed at 3 yet do people really think the majority wasn’t on the Pats? Helloooooo! 2. All we keep hearing about is Suh and Donald. Ok......Nothing about Talib or Peters though? These guys rest on their names rather in their performance folks. Wake up. Brady doesn’t know Talib and his tendencies? Really? Belly doesn’t?3. McVay this, McVay that? Ask yourself...who is the ONLY coach in football that would gain exposure over these two weeks over Belly? McVay! Yep....keep sleeping on Belly and McDaniels. Matter of fact: give me McDaniejs over McVay all day. All day! You don’t think McDaniels hears all the crap about McVay? Perception is a b@tch but reality rules. Both teams got gifts and both arguably couid be at home. Which one do you think cashes their gift in come Sunday? Quit focusing on the % and the $. When things don’t go as planned who adjusts? Who do you like better with two weeks prep? The Rams or the Patriots? Lastly.....are there any question marks for the Pats going into this one? Think about it. Wow...How did Doug Pederson do it? Two games is not a credible sample size. The Rams run defense is allowing 49 yards rushing and 2.3 yards per carry in their last two games. Facing damns good RBs. No sense in the Patriots trying to run, right? |

The silly interception in the end zone was a trash play call and begging for something like that to happen. Then Edelman tipped the ball with his fingers creating an easy interception for the defenders. Brady actually had a nice game and converted three 3rd & 10s in overtime to make an amazing TD drive. Those things aren't going to happen against the Rams.2) I guess you haven't heard of Sony Michel? He's a rookie, he's a very talented RB I have him ranked as one of the best in the NFL. He has been tearing it up. James White is an awesome pass catcher and Burkhead is effective at coming in for a few plays when those guys are tired and getting something good done3) Rams don't have Cooper Kupp anymore, it's Josh Reynolds. If anything I'd say Dorsett/Patterson are slightly better than him but I'll give benefit of the doubt and say equal4) Gronk is fine he's just beat up so they had been using him way more in a blocking role where he's still very effective. They haven't really needed him in the passing game, he was pretty good against KC and I expect them to use him as much as necessary in the passing game against a Rams team that can't cover tight ends. They don't have to worry about resting him anymore, it's the last game. He said he's feeling great too5) Patriots offensive line is still at least as good if not better than the Rams D line sorry.6) Yes agreed Rams O line is clearly superior to NE's D line7) Both teams mediocre at LB, maybe a small advantage to Rams here8) To say Rams are better at DB just shows how biased you are. No way9) Safety again maybe a small advantage RamsQB: You forget that the GOAT lost the game against the Chiefs with his picks I guess? Brady owes Dee Ford a few beers. And the Chiefs have the worst defense in the league. RB: Slight edge to Rams? Wow. Who is the Pats All-Pro RB again? Offensive weapons in general...Rams have a huge edge. The Rams scored 11 regular season TDs from the WR3 position. Who is WR3 for the Pats? TE: Before the AFC Championship Game, Gronk had 5 catches in his last 3 games. Enjoy. OL: Rams DL: Rams LB: Rams DB: Rams ST: Rams If you want to be on the wrong side along with 80%+ of the public, have at it. ;) First of all...Safeties are DBs so they get factored in when you make a statement comparing the DBs of the Rams and Patriots. The Pats have Gilmore who is an All Pro. The Rams have players at every secondary position including Nickel (no punt intended). Josh Reynolds has more TDs than every receiver on the Patriots, except Edelman...and he's only one behind Edelman. That you reference Madden ratings says it all...But you're entitled to your opinions. |
