This is a very interesting matchup. I think TCU will force McCarthy to beat them. TCU has a good secondary but if McCarthy is on then Michigan wins. I think it will be a game of big scoring plays. I'm leaning on the over and TCU to cover. |

My 3rd year to lurk around here and comment here and there infrequently, but want to he more if a regular this season. NCAA is my first love
I usually read some threads and fade the teams I see most people picking. Then I find someone else that is hot and hopefully tail then at the right time. Then I over analyze everything and start following someone new knowing that person with the hot hand is about to go cold This year I don't want to do that. I'd like to just follow someone and ride the wave and hopefully be ahead at the end of the season. And I'm fine paying a small fee if a handicapper then starts charging. So, who would be your pick of who to follow all season long?
I'm sure I'll get some troll responses too so bring it on!!! ???? |

I agree except UT still out recruits TCU at least based off of the recruiting service ratings. Patterson is getting better recruits now thoufh that don't need 2 years to develop, and he can still find those diamonds in the roufr. It all comes down to coaching and the consistency with how the program is run whereas Texas has been changing. They still have the talent. TCU still has a lot of holes to fill since losing 20 seniors last year. Texas has a ton of speed also on defense just like TCU. I love TCU young secondary this year and I imagine they will force Ehlringer to beat them passing and dare him to run. Their only hope is jump balls to their tall WR and hope young TCU QB Robinson makes some mistakes I do question Herman, though, comparing Robinson to a young Kenny Hill. Lol. Did he even watch film on Robinson? That's the last person I'd compare him too. If anything I'd see this as a low scoring game with a lot of running from TCU to start with Texas loading the box. Darius Anderson/Sewo Olonilua will give them fits though if they don't. I'd also imagine that Texas will also force Shawn Robinson to beat them with his arm. BJ Foster is out for Texas in the first half. That will hurt the Horns for sure. TCU 27 UT 20 |

TCU homer so take this with a grain of salt. TCU is historically a GREAT run defensive team no matter who they go up against. Their d line has some great, young talent. I'm more worried about Stanford TEs. I'd lean under. If anything take the 2nd half Under or Stanford team total under bc TCU went a stretch of like 6 or 7 games without giving up a 2nd half TD until they played OU in Big 12 Championship. Even in their first half against OU they didn't give up a 2nd half TD albeit OU probably shut it down on offense. But the point is Gary Patterson is a halftime adjustment making machine. And if he's up a lot he will let up off the gas. I see TCU running ball a lot. If they get the chance then they will let Kenny Hill pass but until game is comfortable they will play it safe with him. If Darius Anderson plays today I'll be a happy man. He's a game changer for TCU offense. I can see Turpin having a great day for TCU as well as they have probably spent bowl practices trying to get him the ball in space where he's electric! Homer pick TCU 31 Stanford 17

TCU has not given up a TD in 2nd half in their last 7 games and only 3pts total. Last team to score in 2md half was Kansas State on a FG about 6 weeks ago? What does that mean? One could say that Patterson is great at making adjustments so does this rematch game fall into that bucket of being like a 2nd half? If so, look for TCU defense to at least be a LOT better in first half against OU on this game. It's also neutral site and Arlington only 20 minutes from Fort Worth albeit the Sooners have more alumni living in the DFW area. It would seem that OU has all the pressure on them and TCU has nothing to lose in this game with revenge on their mind....or does Big 12 brass have the call into the refs to fix game for OU to make playoffs? (See 2014 big 10.championship when Wisconsin rolled over for Ohio State to make playoffs). I wouldn't be surprised. Also, even if OU wins and is up I can see them playing it safe and letting TCU back door cover as they only need to win by 1 and they are in the playoffs. To me, I think TCU would be the bet here and has more value. Good luck |

One of TCU's safeties has been suspended for the 1H of the Oklahoma game....
in College Football TCU has depth and rotates a lot of those guys in already. Shouldn't be a factor. Also, Small is playing
TCU defense still hasn't given up a TD in 2nd half in their last 7 games. Only a FG in 2nd half in their last 7 games and that was to k state weeks ago. Could this rematch still act like a 2nd half to TCU defense and they hold OU offense in check. ? Patterson is the master of making adjustments so we shall see.

TCU starts true freshman QB Shawn Robinson on the road. Also missing leading rusher Darius Anderson who is out for the year as well as key defensive players. Tech can score with the best of them. Tech +7 seems too easy right ? Wrong. Shawin Robinson has coming out party and TCU rolls today. 35- 24

I had a long response to TCU vs OU game but just lost it by accidently clicking out of screen. FML. In summary I'd take TCU all day at the 7 pts it opened up at. This is always a close game. TCU defense is for real. OU defense is very suspect so look for TCU offense to get back on track after having faced Iowa State and Texas who are right behind TCU in total defense in the big 12. TCU should also get their freak of nature Patrick Morris back this game which should tremendously help the offensive line.
Should be an excellent game as always. I think TCU goes to Norman and wins this one as this is must win for them for playoff chances to stay alive. |

How do you figure Texas will score on TCU defense ? I wouldn't want to face Gary Patterson team after a loss like last week. I think the 4-2-5 will haunt either of Texas' QBs. They won't be able to run the ball. I see this match up favoring TCU who does run the ball well TCU wins 30-13 |
