I get everyone's valid points and YES, I used to post 4 picks per race in Superfecta races with 7+ horses in them. But in my defense, I could not post an actual play because I always posted well b4 actual post time and let the odds dictate whether I played or not.

However, posting every race live with minutes to post is a whole different ballgame. In this case, I agree that actual plays or passes would be the right thing to do. 

I'll preface this by saying I usually avoid races for 3 yr. olds in my daily capping and consider most a total crap shoot. But here we go using my homemade speed figs. My top 4 look to be:

#7- Midnight Hawk 5/2 ml  speed - 92

#9- Chitu 4-1 ml speed - 86

#8- Rebranded 12-1 ml  speed - 85

#5- Tanzanite Cat 6-1 ml  speed - 69

So using my speed #'s, I would play the #8 Rebranded to win! I usually but not always play the higher odds horses if they are within 10 pts. of my top figure.

My play is 1 unit to win and 2 units to place on #8. No exotics.

I'm sorry Jenny but this thread had nothing to do with you. I was just asking a question in a thread.

Every play I make is dependent on that number and the post time odds, aka VALUE.

I have no picks today since my grandson is here with Pop-Pop and I have a tourney later.

Ladies?, gentlemen and horseplayers, the problem I have posting a reason for my plays is that I am a 100% speed capper. If you'd like me to post my number next to multiple picks, I can do that but they would have no meaning to you since I incorporate a few (very few) other factors into the number.
