Lost my ass this weekend. Anyone else go 0-4 on the Elite 8? The one dog I pick all weekend, Purdue, loses on a miracle. Every team I had, GONZAGA, DUKE, KENTUCKY, all fails to close out a game. Lost. My. Ass. Worst March Madness of my life.

Missed free throws, missed threes. No one unable to finish off an opponent. So sick. I’m done until football season. Lost my bankroll, not chasing, done with hoops for the year. Good luck to anyone that keeps betting on this crapshoot of a sport. 

It took me a few months to figure this out, but This league is a crap shoot. If you a taking any favorite over -150 or laying more than -4, you are crazy imo. I feel that live betting NBA or quarter betting is a solid route. I have noticed books can struggle to get true lines out live sometimes,

Wow thanks for all of the insights everyone, it was much appreciated. I took last week off, got off the sites and blogs, away for football. It was a much needed recharge. I wound up having a great weekend. Now I am staying more level headed going into the next state of games. Hopefully the momentum keeps rolling. Nice to see that there are people that actually post solid insight/advice on this site and not just their made up $10k wagers or crap on other cappers.

 

I have wagered on football for the last 12 years. This September has been by far the worst month I have ever had. I spend hours a week researching college and NFL every week. It is like a second job. I have had profitable years and years in the negative, but I have never had a 4 week stretch like this. 

This year football, for me, has been so frustrating. I feel like I have capped games well. Usually the 1st month is my strongest and then I regress back to the mean. Each week this month I have lost multiple units. Tonights MNF (Steelers/Bucs) is just icing on the cake.

After watching a few drives and seeing how each team moved the ball with ease. I took the live over at 59.5. After 30 1st half points, the Steelers provided 0 in the 2nd half, including a misssed fg. Game total falls 57. 

I don't want to chase or go on tilt, but this September is really tempting me. How do you handle a cold streak? How do you break out of it?
