Playing it also. I saw that ML fave is 8-2 in these teams last 10 meetings. Unless this guy has the formula (in his 1st appearance of the season) to cool off arguably the hottest bats in baseball, on the road (where they're among the worst in MLB) I cant see Boston losing this game. Remember, I saw nothing in Houston's recent 10 game homestand that indicates they have improved recently. Gimmie those big bats all day!
I laid my -145 down. Slide over just a lil bit & let me grub on this carcass too! |

POD = BALT -137 ML. Cant even see past DET's avg of 6.4 runs against over their last 10 games vs BALT's red hot bats. Throw in BALT's 14-5 home record, 10-3 after a win, along with an upward line tick & im sold!

Fight bettor, just messing with the big show for some action on fight week.
1-0 on play of the day / 1-0 total posted plays. 3 plays today from the donk catching hot cards......... BOS -142 Playing almost as much against Houston being terrible on the road as I am Boston's red hot bats. Throw in the fact that Houston's sp, although highly accomplished, is making his season debut tonite..........against those bats. Plus, ML fave is 8-2 in these teams last 10 meetings. PHIL -116 Im in Reds country, but we're terrible on the road, 2-10, while Philly is 8-5 at home. Situational play against a bad road team coming off a long home stand. Houston was blasted in this same situation last night. Line moved in favor of Philly also. From -110 to -116. The only eye popper that reads "buyer beware" is that cincy is 5-1 in the 0 to 125 dog spot, and Philly is 1-5 as the fave. Guess im really liking the situation. BALT-137. *POD* Plain and simple. I absolutely cannot see past the fact that Detroit has averaged 6.4 runs against in their last 10 games going against BALT's insane offense. Thats enough for a play, but the icing that makes this game my POD is BALT's14-5 home record, 10-3 at home after a win. Sprinkle on the line ticking upward & im sold. Best of luck bettors! These games are merely picked on a juicy fight bankroll, with minimal research involved. Only reason im publishing is because im 9-2, & maybe someone out there is into riding "retard waves". P.S. bettors - Fight game love me long time.......and my bankroll is screaming Verdum -165. I got it at 1550 to win a g spot. 100 dollar bettor, up 6.2 on MLB before today, all of which will roll over to a verdum wager. GL ALL.......$ |

No posted plays. Gotta start somewhere I guess. Only cred ive got on this site is I vowed (in print) to ride the "Floyd to Win" train til the wheels fell off back in 06. Laid some serious juice at times, but its been a smooth and profitable ride. Wheels never fell off, just parked in the garage.
Blah, Blah.....who gives af......whats this Verdum stuff you're talking? I'll keep it Vanilla...... You have a defending champion, in the sweet spot of his career, headlining a card in his own country, defending his title with the clear ground advantage as hes extremely hard to hold down. Proven iron chin, and amazing recovery if he does get caught up in a slugfest, no chance of dropping a close decision.............all at a very reasonable price of -155 (165 now). I would honestly have squeezed the trigger on Verdum, without hesitation, up to -260. Therefore, his -165 is a must for parlay players. Should Mighty Mouse announce today that hes moving up in weight, my argument is firm.......Fabricio is the most dominant fighter in his division! Although hvywt is rather "middle heavy", my position would still stand firm. And this fight is a bettors last chance......you can still catch the tail end of the lead lap on recognizing his dominance and career sweetspot. The aforementioned Mighty Mouse, Yair Rodriguez, and Fabricio are the only current fighters I vow to ride until the wheels fall off. Of course, Fabs wheels will eventually fall off........but it certainly wont be Saturday night in Brazil. Sorry books. Cant always stay silent. It is my duty to occasionally jump the fence and point out to my fellow lions the -165 carcass you have bestowed upon us. Let us enjoy this helping of cashflow! "Is it the way I disect the card, or my bankroll that brings all the boys to the yard?" |

Don't do parlays, but if I did, my one slot would be Verdum's juicy -155 fitting in like a puzzle. Hes my best play and best value play on the card. If your first two hit, assume your position in the catbird's seat for the nightcap. Verdum future lines will look more like -240 to -260.

Stro's abysmal road record, Boston's home record, Boston's HOT bats. Line movement isn't shaking me off the hook. Price's recent home woes the only pause, but Sac hit it right, good spot for price to even half show up. I believe both price laying an egg and Boston's bats going cold must happen for a Houston win. First game for Stros after 10 at home.......against those hot bats. I'll lay the juice. Only MLB play for me today = BOS

This post is obviously "after the fact", yet boxing wagerers always remember one thing!......superlate + superlarge almost always = superinformed. Take that for what its worth, but its been a very useful and time tested tool in my playbook !! |

Wow, She is Terrible !! I think she got the kiss of death in the sport of boxing, Teddy Atlas called her "either incompetent or corrupt", so i think her title fight gigs are over !

Sorry to all those above who want Jersey to go! I RESPECT YOU ALL. BUT, I vote to keep him on the island. He does have some good knowledge of the sport, and I do respect his passion when conveying his message! I guess im a somewhat "apathetic" covers member, because I choose to read and not post often, so I like guys like him around. Look at the buzz he got out of you guys??? Jersey, I hope you keep posting on here, because i enjoy checking out everyone's posts in the boxing forum. Keep em' coming guys... |

Jersey, I hope you do stick around this site, and your assesments were exactly right, although those assesments of Canelo, as I understand them, are "relative to fighting Floyd", which Im sure some didnt quite catch. Those would be inaccurate assesments of Canelo IN GENERAL, yet when stacking him against the "liklelyhoods" of what happens when fighting $$, they were spot on! I do think the KO prediction was rather bold, but thats another reason you gotta stick around, I'm a believer that your posts are definately "view-worthy", as you surely have knowledge of the sport, and express some passion when posting. I always check them out to see what you're thinking. So if you roll out, thats one less useful tool of data I will have when gathering my wager info. So from an "avid reader", yet "rare poster", i count on guys like you to help me gather "public perception". Hope to see more boxing posts in the future Jersey! Good Luck on All Your Wagers ! |

Nice hit, and -130 is probably the BEST payout on the Floyd side of the ticket. It shouldnt have been as close as it was, and CJ Ross almost cost you that bet! Now that she's been exposed, i doubt she gets any title fights again! This was a great fight to collect some bankroll dough, as Floyd will likely fight Danny Garcia next, and the odds will be "astronomical". Again, congrats on a very nice hit! |

This Kid had to eeek to the scales to make a "catchweight". If he has ANY effects whatsoever, and I MEAN ANY, from having to cut weight, he could very well be KO'd by the inevitable Mayweather compubox "barrage" that his opponents encounter from rounds 9 to 12. We KNOW that is coming, and if the kid is "gassed" late, he will face a punishment he has never encountered, maybe ending the night on his back. The likelihood of this happening isnt GREAT, but enough of a possibility to steer me "totally" away from Floyd by decision. I believe even the Alvarez camp knows the formula to beating Floyd, whatever it may be, is not to try to outbox him, but to come at him hard. Last guy I saw come at Floyd agressively was Ricky Hatton, and he ended up on his back. I'm not trying to play Devil's Advocate, or disrespect your wager whatsoever, I'm just giving you my perspective, yet I believe Floyd cruises to a victory regardless, and hope we both win. Best of luck on all your wagers ! |

Floyd overcomes a "possibly furious" start from Canelo (which does justify a hedge on an early+canelo+ko----strictly for the payout on the flipside of a Floyd -270 to win larger wager). But as spoken earlier, Floyd has cashed for me time and time again, and Ive bet chunks w/ confidence........Now I'm hearing chatter of this kid having to cut weight (he came in right at the catchweight max......hmmmm), boxing "sharps" ears perk up at those words regardless,,,,,,and against an always sharp Floyd???? Wow, do I love the Floyd -270. and I'll lay the extra and stay away from the "decision" wager, as Im worried this kid fades fast after about 8 rounds, and possibly gets KO'd by Floyd if he doesnt stay moving. Because I assure you, Floyd's compubox stats will spike from 9-12, question is, how will the kid handle it??? He takes the loss regardless, either standing by the ref, or on his back. I'll take the easy road and lay the 270. Good luck All !

Rest assured young lad, you have invested wisely. -270ish Floyd to win is the greatest gift on any sports wagering card as of late. I would stay away from the "Floyd by decision" wager, although it is a better payout, and likely in a Mayweather fight, mix the agressiveness this kid will come out with (i.e. Ricky Hatton), along w/ the chatter of a noticable weight cut for Alvarez, and I see a victory for BOTH MoneyMayweather AND your wagering portfolio !!

I agree 100% Frank. I would take Mayweather w/out the cutting weight being an issue. Now that its even a noticable issue, shows me they are rushing this kid into "ocean deep" waters for the payday. The "given" in this equasion is that Floyd wins this fight. The uncertainty is whether or not he gets so "gassed" that floyd knocks him out. The last guy that came charging hard at Floyd was Ricky Hatton......and we know what happened there. And Ricky didnt cut weight, let alone to this extreme. I truly believe Alvarez is a legit, top notch fighter, but hes not ready for Floyd right now. And to bring the kid in cutting so much weight..
