Basically if the game wasn't on the big screen you just couldn't watch it. Probably going to head to another book for tonight's action.. replied to Most you have ever won a scratch ticket in General Discussion We used to live in NY and I drove to work in PA daily...both heavily saturated lottery states (and amazingly both heavily saturated welfare states ) Mega Millions twice a week in one state and Powerball twice a week in the other. Had to be in all the work pools "just in case" and of course had to have my own 5, 10, 20 or...worth for myself "just in case". Oh and yes those colorful scratchers hanging from the reels just calling my name.. Moving to a non-lottery state is the best thing we ever did for our finances. Amazing how we were able to pay off our debt and save up for a house so quickly once we got away from that stuff. Oh and $150 was the most I ever won on a scratcher...out of 8 Billion spent or at least that's what if felt like I was spending. created a topic Anyone been to Harrah's lately? in Las Vegas Anyone stay at Harrah's lately? Wife and I are heading there next week and I was just wondering if anyone has any advice to share. Mainly interested in how the sports book is (of course), if there are any good eats close by, how the rooms are, etc.. We're being comped two nights with a third night pending if we want it and I'm just wondering what to expect as we haven't been there in 6 years. By the sounds of the Tripadvisor reviews not much has changed at all but most are happy with the central location on the strip but not much else.. We're not expecting 5 star accommodations but hoping it's not a roach motel... Thanks in advance for any advice and keep you sticks on the ice! I was with them for over 8 years and completely happy but the recent rash of BS in the industry caused me to hang in up altogether. Oh well, VIP was a great book. created a topic gotta love a good push in NBA Betting Placed an if-wager on the Zags 2nd half Over 76 (which wasn't even fuckin' close) based on my 1 dime Dallas 2nd half ML play. Sitting here stewing over the shitfest I'd just watched in the Zags/Loyola 2nd half in which they didn't even score 60 points as Dallas was winning the 2nd half ML comfortabley and then wham...Dallas blows a 7 point lead and Afflalo hits the duece to win the game by 1 for Denver giving me a push on my parent Dallas ML wager saving me a dime.....
