Next pick may seem like a head-scratcher, but here it goes: Liga MX 0-0 0.00 Units Pumas UNAM +340 vs Monterrey: 1.60 / 5.44 Units Monterrey is in my opinion, without a doubt, the best side in Liga MX this year. That being said, the competition in Liga MX during the regular season suffers at the end when the teams that have already qualified for the playoffs start rotating their team to prevent injuries, etc. That is the case for Monterrey. They did that last game and ended up losing vs the last team in the standings at the time, Puebla. Now it's time for them to travel to Mexico City to face what looks like an overmatched Pumas team. With Pumas having a bad season, they got their coach fired and the replacement did well enough to beat Leon last week, who's an up and coming team this year in Liga MX. Now, they stay home for the second week in a row and this match is for pride and that's really all they've got to play for at this stage. Monterrey's line up is even weaker in my opinion than what they presented last week vs Puebla and I don't see them hanging with a Pumas team that will play with a "nothing-to-lose mentality." Specimen Thank you sir! They're a quality side for sure. I like the brand of football they like to play. Adding: Atletico Madrid +105 @ Celta de Vigo: 2.00 / 2.08 Units I usually shy away from Altetico away games if I can help it. Among the reasons I do that is that their price is always very inflated and Atletico's motto away seems to be defense above anything else. However, they're coming in from a disappointing draw to nil in UCL @ FK Qarabag where they couldn't net a goal even after playing against 10 men for the last 15 minutes of the match. That's 2 away games in a row (Leganes - La Liga) where they draw to nil and though Simeone usually sticks to his tactics, I've seen him change his brand when something is missing. I'm not saying that Atletico has a chance to take the league this year away from the usual suspects, but make no mistake about the fact that one of their objectives is to challenge for the league. These are they type of games they have to take advantage off in order to climb the ranks. They currently sit at 4th place, but tied in points with Villarreal, Real Betis, and Sevilla. Their 2 next home matches in La Liga feature Villarreal and Real Madrid, so it's not going to get any easier for them. I believe they come out with a sense of urgency here and do enough to take this match. At the + ML, I'll take it all day long. BOL Mates! I'm with you there and I agree (to your Real Madrid point), mismatches are not dictated by the name of the team or the line that Vegas gives out. I've seen plenty of mismatches where the team with the upper hand is even the underdog at times and identifying those matches is part of the success formula. FuboTV rocks!! haha Dogberto Risktaker - Very interesting stuff.. I can see the comparison and it makes sense.. like everything else, if you want to be great at it, it's not just going to happen, you have to dedicate yourself to it fully. Bundesliga 2 1-0 +1.60 Units TSV Eintracht Braunschweig +132 vs VfL Bochum: 1.60 / 2.08 Units Here's part of the struggle.. I capped all 3 games of Bundesliga 2 as well as the early matches in La Liga & EPL. I went with what I liked the most after capping them, but if I'm being honest with myself, my early card would probably feature 2 out of the 3 Bundesliga 2 matches, plus at least one of either La Liga or EPL. My 2 cents on Chelsea vs Watford: It may be tempting to pick Watford at the nice price straight up or with the +1.25 goal line. After all, this team actually sits on top of Chelsea in the standings, held Liverpool to a 3-3 draw and recently beat Arsenal 2-1 (speaking of quality results.. granted I don't know how much quality there is in beating those 2 that are very unreliable lately). Bad losses? A 6-0 home-ground stomping courtesy of Pep Guardiola and his lads, which as much as it pains me to admit, are the best side in EPL to date. Chelsea on the other hand has a few injuries and has lost their way a bit with 3 straight matches without recording a win (3-3 vs Roma UCL, 1-2 @ Cry Pal EPL, 0-1 vs Man City EPL) Something tells me they'll come out inspired and thump Watford right out of The Bridge.
