Well things are playing out perfectly for Aaron Rodgers playing in Minn. for a year or 2. Darnold gone. Still lingering injury concerns from their Mich. 1st round QB in 24 + not a snap played yet in the NFL. His Pal RB Aaron Jones just resigned with Minn. + don't think that both Aarons are not talking to each other about this. Perfect place for him surrounded by talent + the signing will send the SB odds + the viking fans into a tizzy at least a good portion of them. His health at 41 is an issue yes but this is well worth the roll of the dice....BIG TIME. |

Well near everyone was talking up Darnold signing a nice contract with the Vikings in 25 + beyond before the week 18 Lion game + i pointed out that if Darnold stinks there + in the Playoff game things completely change so everyone wait a few weeks + well it played out that way. Darnold is a better version of J. Winston of the Browns lots of splash plays + lots of mistakes. Yes i agree he is not worth this money even though it is not huge in the Off the Charts insane QB contract world. The good thing about this is that it really opens the door for Aaron Rodgers to go to Minnesota for a year or two. |

The Jets appear to be moving on from Rodgers the chatter the last 24 hours suggest looking like a post june 1st release for Aaron. How about this for a wild but very interesting situation this year.....VIKINGS.....following in Farve's total footsteps post GRB. Darnold is likely gone in FA while he played great until the last 2 games but played way above his head before that + JJ McCarthy has not played a down yet although he was having a great camp before his leg injury + a year to learn which is also hugely helpful but could sit behind Rodgers for another year maybe even 2 depending on Rodgers in 2025. Rodgers got healthy towards the end of the year + will have perfect health in 2025 surrounded by that rec. corps + likely his Buddy Aaron Jones who is a FA at 30 but would likely take a discount to play with Aaron + stay put giving Rodgers something he rarely had in 2024 namely a running game to help him. I know there are other teams more in need of a QB bridge for a year or 2 but the excitement around the Vikings with Aaron there would be quite the off season story in the NFL . Now i was as disappointed in Aaron's play as anyone as i played the jets in the LV contests about 12 weeks this year + had nice money on them to win the SB at 22-1 so my like/love level for Aaron took a big hit this year but Rodgers did not play horrible despite the Jets record as he finished around middle of the pack or slightly better in most passing but notably really sucked in the moments the Jets needed him the most late in the game when they needed a score. Something he thrived on his whole career. Rodgers has been going downhill since his Last Year in GRB + his NY ex. was not great to say the least but can he do it for 1 more year like Farve did in 2009 with the Vikings where they were 1 stupid Farve pass away from beating the Saints + facing the Colts in the SB or will his age, past injuries + his lack of clutch play catch up to him? Hey we are a few days removed from the SB + we have a lot of time to float things around so i am floating.

the 2 biggest plays of that game with hon. mention to that hail mary drop by dalton was the fumble by pat on 2nd and 2 on the buf 22 late in the 2nd q. which buf turned into a td a few min. later for 10-14 point turnaround + the stop early in the 4th q. on 4th and half yard at the kc 40.5 yard line which kc turned into 8 points a few min later for another likely 10-15 point turnaround |

i saw that also but that started before that last 1st down to seal it....i am glad the 1st down was made but if the chiefs def. had to go back on the field if that was not made i wonder how ready he might of been....knowing him no problem i say but the tears did start way too early there |

All KC does is win in the playoffs...no pressure just go out + win. Just like the Pats recently or maybe the 70's steelers this team is just so relaxed when playing a playoff game + most important ultra confident that they will win + they almost never lose so why not. Great play |

They actually can rush the passer but mostly from the outside where the Chargers are as solid as any team in the league at tackles with Slater + Alt. but watch Herbert carve up the Texans D. in the middle of the field staying away from outside throws mostly where the Texans are great defending but poor defending in the middle along with the incred. dif. the chargers have running the ball with dobbins vs all other charger Rb's It is set up for a big Chargers win but this is the NFL |
