Even if Wash made like 2-5 yards on that play they are still on about the 20 yard line or so with around a 45% chance to eventually score a TD anyway so just utter stupidity. It is not like it was 4th + 2 from the 6 or 7 yard line that if they make it they score 80-90% of the time after that or even on the 4th down play itself. Wash still had so much work to still do + it demoralized the D. who were already starting to get gashed + tired at that point. Amazing how stupid Head coaches are in the most critical situations no less.

Also there was 4 or 5 seconds on the play clock when they snapped that so Dallas could have run down more time there before the FG attempt as every second counts at the end....no reason in the world not to call a T. O. there when the play clock hit 00.

Without a doubt the best chance the Eagles have is if S. Barkley can have a big game + the Eagles can control the clock. The Saints D. have had some tough games in the past with mobile QB's also although with personal changing every year it is really hard to make that assumption year to year so both of those guys having a big game on the ground is essential for the Eagles keeping up in this game as i do not see them passing very well although Hurts is great at escaping + anything is possible after that.

The Eagles D. is very unlikely to stop or even slow down the Saints here so it is all on that very good Eagles O. line...Barkley....Hurts to get yards + run clock.

Also the Eagles have to stay close in order to do ^^^^^ so if they get behind + have to pass without AJ Brown with the deafening crowd going nuts they are going to get crushed. 

Miss match here as the eagles D. cannot stop the run + are no hell vs the pass either with little pressure on the QB then having to play ag. this current saints O tearing it up. Unless the Eagles get a bunch of turnovers this will not be close.

I am yet to hear anyone make a case for the Eagles on this or any other forum except to say this is a week to week league which does have cred. witness the 49ers Jets + many other examples from 0's to hero's or the other way around 1 week to the next.

With this line barely moving in the Saints favor i do wonder as for me personally i have had more then a few of these cannot miss....how can they lose games blow up in my face so i will try to keep my powder dry but unless some weird things happen this should be a 20pt min. win for the Saints.

Hope so as Houston has looked quite ordinary this year despite being 2-0 much like KC but the Vikings have looked very impressive so far although the 1st game was vs the Giants which they blew out then handled the 49ers quite easily actually + that was amazing considering the way the 49er's dominated the Jets in week 1 (although the Jets look like a totally dif. team now). The Vikes are playing over their heads right now but who's to say they cannot do that 1 more week in front of the skol crowd....i say yes they can.

I am frankly shocked the line is this low although 37% of the so called TV + big website "experts" are picking the Eagles S/U.

Also the Eagles best rec. AJ Brown will not play again + the Saints get back their crackerjack corner Latimore for this game who will probably travel with Philly's only real receiving threat in D. Smith along with philly's fine safety + former Saint CJ Gardiner Q. for this game although i expect him to give it a go but at what effectiveness vs his old team.

To this point so far in 2024 this is head + shoulders my fav. pick of the season + will be hard pressed to find another this juicy all season.

Philly could be the most overrated team in the NFL that i thought before the season started anyway+ Obviously the Saints are probably the most underrated one.

12.5 points would not be enough for me to take Philly here....22.5 and i would but not be overly confident.

Saints 37-17.....it might not be that close.

Nice write up but bringing up the 15-1 record many times with both of these teams being SO different than those past teams + i mean SO.....15-1 means lower than 0000 except for the law of ave. catching up tonight + many future games between these teams at least the next 4 anyway likely.
