created a topic Thinking of placing a large sized wager on Duke ML in College Basketball They currently sit at -240 on the ML at my book. Thinking of throwing a bet down to win 1k. Does anyone have a feel for where this line might go closer to game time? Should I wait a bit for a better line at some point or is -240 as good as it will get? I'm just confident that Duke wins this one, one way or another. Would rather place a larger bet on them just to win and not have to worry about points. created a topic Kentucky to win it all at my book in College Basketball My book offers Kentucky to win the championship in two different spots. Spot 1: Is under the odds of each team left winning individually. Kentucky here is Even money odds. Spot 2: Is under whether Kentucky or The Field will win the title. Kentucky here is at +102 odds. I know the .02 difference is minor, but I wonder how a book would have these two lines different, since if you take it,the end result is the same: You win if Kentucky wins, you lose if they don't. Any idea why these two numbers would be different? I took them to win over The Field yesterday at +101 and today it is +102. I know it's tourney time and it's a game Butler can definitely win, but thinking of placing a large sized bet on the Irish ML at -165. Any thoughts on whether this is a good play or not?
