At 5:15 p.m. on Thursday October 31st I made a contest play of Houston + 2 in the street Survivor contest. The game when I looked at my profile, had me picking the Jets minus two and it was already graded as a loss 3 hours before the kickoff to the game. Is there any way I can get this fixed before the game? Thank you for your help in advance

Thanks DYM for your input. I appreciate the response.  That is actually the site I used to use for years. The odds for the 4 books they list there now are not accurate. I have found the odds listed to be way off the actual odds you find at most books. Plus these books don't even list quarters or 2H bets for fringe sports like CFL or WNBA. 

This is proving to be a tougher task than I thought it would be.

Until recent changes used to use another site to get scores & odds for that day & past results. This includes full game , quarter, HT bets & totals for current day as well as years of historical games. 

Covers is fine for full game & totals bets but nor quarters or 1H & 2H bets

scoresandodds is decent for that days games but odds can be off by 2pts at times

What sites if any has this info all in one place?

someone doesn't have a full time job monitoring covers contest boards. If a game gets canceled, they note it & it gets shown as void on the sheets once all games are over. It's a free contest, not worth devoting extra manpower to it 

The contest is basically over but I found it strange that the only choice anyone could make for Thursday were the spread & total from the CFL game.

There are 4 WNBA games on the board, but none available in the contest. WNBA was available for selection in the past.

Top 10 Positioning is being decided Those games would help fill out the card so 4 choices, if necessary, could be made.

BOL man. This Q has nothing to do with recent results good or bad.

The only question I have is why do these systems only produce under as a play? Is there a factor in your equation that maybe is weighing too heavily towards the under?  In anything, there should be checks & balances that should keep you from relying too heavily on one scenario.  

I understand that books are built on people taking the fave & the over. Playing more under the line in itself is a solid strategy. Play something consistently and the books profile you that way costing you $$$. Maybe instead of -110 juice, you are paying -115. It all adds up.

A unit is something different to everyone. It is based on what they ate comfortable betting or for most it is a % of their bankroll

Some bet a fixed amount every game like you mentioned $50. That would be your unit.

To me a unit should be a fixed % of your bankroll anywhere from 0.5 to 1%. If you had a 1,000 bankroll then your unit of 1% would be $10. If you wanted to put 3 units on a game then you would pit $30 on that game.

If your goal is to just have some fun while you learn the ropes, then I would keep your bet size small. I'd say closer to .5% of your bankroll. The goal should be to never reload, even while you are gaining knowledge.

I would suggest flat betting until you learn for yourself which situations are good or bad betting spots. Flat betting is risking the same amount on every game no matter what. It takes the emotion out of how much to play on a game.

The contest plays by Vegas rules. Vegas rules in any sportsbook say an MLB game must go 5 Inn or 4.5 if home team is ahead to count as a legal game. Totals must go 8.5 inn to count as a legal game. This game only went 7 so the side was a legal game and the total wasn't. 

It is the same way in all sports. A football game must go 55min, an NBA game I believe is 44 min ...etc

No one got screwed it was graded just as it should have been.

It sucks when you're winning a bet that gets cancelled, but in a contest like this where only wins matter, it is important to factor in weather when making picks. If you pick a total/side in a game that might get rained out, you run the risk of losing a game on the leaders.
