I find it pretty sad that the GB backers are relying on the weather to be the determining factor in this game. SF has the better defense and will be running the ball against a poor defense overall. Having no Matthews is a big deal. Running the football and playing defense is the recipe for success in the playoffs. Kaepernick played his college ball at Nevada, it's not like that place is Fla St. The 9ers are going to run the ball down the throats of the GB defense and limit Rodgers' touches by doing so. GB doesn't have the horses to beat SF in GB or anywhere, that's why they're 0-3 vs Harbaugh in their last 3 meetings.

Have you not seen what the pac12 has been doing in bowl games? The Pac12 has basically dominated teams in the bowls.... 5-2 and one of those losses was Mike Leach brain farting with the game basically over... Pac12 is the 2nd best conference this year and you could argue top to bottom it's better than the SEC... The big 10 was not strong this past year at all.... Stanford will be the most physical team on both sides of the ball that Mich St has seen all year, without a doubt... Stanford probably has the most physical OL next to Bama in the country and they've perfected the art of holding and never get flagged for it... Mich St probably won't score more than 13 points in this game...

I'm interested in Bar Refaeli but that's not going to happen... Actually I have a better chnce of getting her than Lane Kiffen does of getting the Texas job..

Might want to look at Mizzou, Nova, UCLA parlay... These teams are playing teams that will not be able to hang... Strongest play is nova, SC has not played a single quality opponent and 1 road game... Not to mention SC has no talent and this "run and gun" style is avg 72pts a game...

Well I'll start by saying I'm a ucla fan so you can take my assessment with a grain of salt. I can tell you that ucla has not really played up to its potential yet this year. Outside of the 2 quarters explosion ucla has been pretty ordinary offensively this year. But in saying that ucla is still amassing 600+ yds of offense and scoring over 40 pts a game. Defensively ucla has yet to allow a point scored in the 3rd quarter this year and something like 30 pts total in the 2nd Half. Also take into account of that 30 points allowed in the 2nd half 13 of those points allowed were when the 3rd stringers (bunch of true freshman) were playing. Personally I can see the why people will be all over Stanford, especially after they lost to Utah last week. What I think people are missing is the fact that this is not the same Stanford as last year. The spread up tempo offenses are moving the ball and scoring, ie Washington and Utah. Stanford is dinged up on the defensive side of the ball. Teams in the pac12 are making Hogan beat them and quite frankly Stanford is sorely missing guys like ertz and toilolo who provided hogan big mismatches. Don't forget that in the pac12 championship game @ Stanford last year, ucla was in control of the game until the last 4mins and had a chance to tie it but missed the fg. Stanford is not an intimidating place to play and there will be a huge ucla contingency there. I can guarantee you guys that ucla has had this game circled this year and Mora wil have these kids ready to play. It's going to be an interesting game but I do think you take the points and also the ml.
I think a ml parlay of ucla, Utah and Udub is too good to pass up... Good luck on whatever ya do...

I don't understand how people can rationalize that Atl has a good defense. They are 21st against the run and about to face a team that has more running looks than anybody (and now the pistol) in the NFL, run the ball EXTREMELY well behind probably the most physical running OL. Don't kid yourselves, the 9ers will run the ball down the throats of the falcons. If Atl wants to stack the box and run a cover 2 behind it Vernon Davis and the WRs are going to have a big day. It's not like every team doesn't try to stack the box against the 9ers.
On offense if the 9ers don't get to Matt Ryan this game will be closer than it should. But what seattle couldn't do w/o Clemons, the 9ers with Smith & Smith will, and that's sack and hit Matt ryan all day. Atl will not be able to run the ball, haven't all year and they're not going to start now vs the best run def in the NFL. So it's going to come down to who can control the ball and clock, who do u think will be better at that? A team that can't run the ball vs a team that's one of the best in the league at stopping the run, or the team that's one of the best running teams in the nfl vs a team that's below average at stopping the run? Add that and factor in the coaches and how they prepare their teams. One guy that has his team in the nfc championship game 2x in his first 2 yrs as a head coach or a guy who's shown he just makes some bonehead calls? I'll bet Harbaugh over Smith everyday of the week and twice on sunday... on a side note, Kaepernick scored a 37 on the wonderlic, he isn't a dummy...

The 2 hottest cappers on this Board for bowl games have been Ted and CharlotteSports... The past 2 games Ted has had Oregon and A&M while Charlotte was on KSU and Okla....

No serious coach was going to look at SC while they're going thru their sanctions. Currently SC is only in year 1 of it's scholarship limitations and two more to go, so Lane Kiffen should be there for at least another year. On the bright side, SC will be even worse next yr and that may be the final straw to get Kiffen canned.

As a UCLA fan i saw this line and my eyes popped out of my head. UCLA shouldn't be laying points to anyone, and certainly not the #7 team in the country. UCLA just doesn't defend well and Missouri should score fairly often, I'm guessing the o150 should be the best bet.
traditionally howland is tough when he has a week to prepare, but he just doesn't have athleticism on this squad to defend them effectively. UCLA does possess some firepower in Bazz, Adams and Anderson. My head says take Mizzou ml and the over... worth a 2 team parlay for me as an emotional hedge...

Here's my take as a UCLA fan. This current squad is not athletic and just aren't a very good defensive team. I do not think UCLA will be able to hang with Mizzou. My guess is the o150 should be a lay up. Missouri will score 80, i don't think ucla will be able to defend them for 40mins. The only thing UCLA has going for it is Howland is tough to beat with a full week to prepare. Personally I don't think it will matter.
I just find it weird why Vegas put that line at UCLA -3 (unranked) vs the #7 team in the country. Knowing what i know, being an avid UCLA fan it seems too good to be true. My inclination is to take Mizzou ml and o150.

USC -3 at UCLA.....someone please tell me I'm an idiot for laying 90% of my bankroll on USC! Please

Being a UCLA fan i would never bet ucla in this game, unless I was 100% confident, but i follow both teams pretty closely... My guess is the safest bet is the over... Both defenses are not that good and most likely the team that has it last wins...

My boookie counted it as a loss but that will have to change...
