Guasman throws 97mph, Roarke throws 88. 97 is way above average velocity, 88 is way below. Gausman has a better arm. The stats will not tell you who is better because there is not enough sample lol maybe you shouldnt post if you are going to use velo as the base to determine who the "better" pitcher is...97 mph doesn't mean sh*t if you cant' spot it, 88 with movement and the ability to put it where you want holds way more value than a young live arm..... I am still learning how to bet baseball and baseball is a streaking sport no matter how talented or dominate you are....why wouldn't you use them as a starting point to determine a side especially when the sample size is so small.. I had tommy john and I'm one of few that my recovery didn't go so well. I see most of these guys on here no NOTHING about baseball and just talk and try and start arguments with people. Like you for example by what you said I can tell you know the game. There were so many stranded runners in the game it was insane... 2 nice catches to one by elsbury and one by rasmus A lot of stat monkeys and programming geeks that rely solely on numbers and rarely ever provide legit human elements to a prediction, and when they do more often than not makes little or no sense....most of which don't even watch the games, have never played beyond their years as a back-up infielder in high school... and overvalue thier query's of statistics that go back years and years that have no relevance to the current situations or match-ups...IMO. However, some of these guys have stuck around for a reason and know things that are not easily seen to the average baseball bettor (numbers wise). I try to couple this information with my own personal knowledge and experience to find the best possible spot to make a wager. If only I had more patience...the math side and lack of patience is where I fall short and is the reason I still look to a few on here to add info.
