created a topic BCS in College Football I am in the small minority, but I am sad to see it go. Repeatedly, they crowned the best team in the country the National Champion - of course, as Americans, we complained about that. But I was cool with it. The best team should be the National Champion and the fact that the BCS delivered on that year-after-year is not something to be upset about. I am not looking forward to the 2007 Giants of the next playoff winning it all and crowning a team that is, clearly, not the best the National Champion. Playoffs crown the teams that get hot, oftentimes. As parity has become more apparent in CFB, the BCS has gotten only better and delivered some great games. I will miss those games. replied to Auburn in College Football I dont see it going over, but FSU can put up 40 easy here. Its not crazy to think Auburn hits 21-24. I wouldnt touch this total. I think FSU defense has the opportunity to become too much. Just worried about a large lead killing the defensive intensity. created a topic Auburn in College Football If you have been losing, you have not been paying attention. Up a silly amount of units this bowl season. Auburn is a team of destiny. No need for a Cam-back this year. There was the kick-six. No need to roll tide, you could war damn eagle. Mighty SEC gets their due again with another team in the BCS Championship. Auburn is a team with nothing to lose. Auburn is also a huge loser tonight. This are not the top two teams in the nation. This is the top team and the 10th team. FSU is so much better on a football field, it is silly. FSU has the defense that Auburn does not. FSU does not need luck to win this game. They need to play good football. Auburn needs to play their best game of the year. You can bet on that happening. created a topic UGA and MSU in College Football SEC again here. Lowly Big 10 opponent. Gurley the beast. Played this same team last year and won by double digits. One of the best defenses in the country. The only team to beat Ohio State the last two years. Both losers. 10 Units Nebraska 1stH +6 15 Units Nebraska +9 After blowing a lead in this game last year, I think we see a motivated Nebraska team. We all know bowl games are all about motivation. Nebraska has a bit to prove here. With Murray out, this team has a great opportunity to get their revenge. Georgia defense is a bit of an abortion. 10 Units Stanford -3.5 1stH 20 Units Stanford -6 I dont think there is a more well rounded, better coached team in the country than Stanford. No staff gets more out of their players on a daily basis. Going into ASU and winning the Pac 10 Championship handily? This team will be firing on all cylinders with a few weeks to prepare. On the other hand, I dont think there is a more overrated team than MSU. The fact they are missing their best defensive player is going to hurt them against this Stanford power game. I see the ball getting shoved down their throat, opening up some play-action and Stanford large. Happy New Years to everyone and your families. How about those boys from Duke?
