The problem is the government is using a religious institution to define couples. There needs to be a separation of church and state, with which marriage there isn't. Local, state, and federal governments need to discard the use of 'marriage' and start to use union/partnership/couple/companion or whatever you want to call it to define 2 people that recognize each other as their significant other. After that, you can leave it up to churches to decide whether they want to 'marry' same sex couples or not - even then still doesn't matter as any couple regardless of it's sex should have the same legal rights and benefits as far as government rights are concerned. As it is now, you have 2 different sides trying to shove a religious institution down each others throats which frankly doesn't belong in the local, state, or federal control.

I agree and disagree with you about Paul Ryan. No hope as you say with mainstream Americans, but that's because of the sad fact most Americans are either misinformed or uninformed. I thought Paul Ryan would have made a great VP or even better Prez than Romney.
I really like Rand Paul - don't necessarily agree with every view of his, but I identify with him the most out of most GOP candidates or just politicians in general. He will have a hard time against Rubio though, as Rand Paul is more liberterian such as myself, just don't know whether the GOP as a whole is ready to move in that direction. I'd love to see more Republicans, not just politicians, but also the voting public - start to move toward the center on social issues while holding ground on gov't. And I completely agree about States should be deciding more of these issues rather than the Fed Gov't

I think the fight is in Canada again...Toronto or Montreal. Hendricks already said he'd have no problem fighting in GSP's back yard.
I think it will be a great fight, gotta go with my boy GSP though.

I'd love to see term limits, vote all politicians out at this point regardless of their affiliation to either party.
I personally like Rand Paul and Paul Ryan.

I thought the first 1.5-2hr was awesome. Just showed what these people had to go through to hunt all these bastards down for almost a decade...true vigilance and ruthlessness. The last 30min was cool and all but just another action flick. Overall really enjoyed the movie.

Just came out today. Was debating to go out and play a 1k or 1500 but flights are pretty expensive and might as well spend it on a closer event at like the Borgata.

Costas should not have brought it up one way or the other, simple as that. He should have kept it as short and simple as saying thoughts go out to all involved.
I also hate how people brought signs to the game for the player. The only thing that it should read is "burn in hell". I hate how our society reacts to tragedies like this. He should be highly condemned and scrutinized, yet he is a professional athlete and isn't. He chose to be a murderer and a coward, while leaving an infant to boot. I am deeply sorry for the child and her family, but darn that guy.

To have better abs it is more through a strong back - not crunches. Diet & exercise. Most people just have more skin in areas there some people so just because you might have a low body fat % doesn't mean you'll be able to see a washboard.

I thought it was better than Quantum but not Casino Royale. I thought the opening Bond montage theme (whatever it is called) was one of the best across all the films.

I am not a big fan of Glenn Beck because he can be just as radical on the right as those on the left but I do like he touches a lot of topics and the way he presents his past show on Fox was very interactive and not like any other show across any network. His prediction 2 weeks ago spot on.

I agree with #'s 1, 2, 5, 6, 7(agree but not to that extent), 8, and 9 (but I personally think we are already at 10%) Texas won't allow #3 to happen. #4 should but will be tough. |
