glad to see you're on the fins. Miami has the right defense to slow down rivers in that they are very effective in bringing pressure up the middle on their D line. the charger interior O line is puke is pass protection and the Miami linebackers will be effective in covering the middle of the field in that they only need a 4 man pass rush. charger run game is soft to say the least. Miami is very under the radar with their rushing attack and the charger defensive front 7 is soft vs the run. as long as tannehill limits his INT's, I see him completing key passes in this game vs a banged up charger secondary. also factor in that philbin's dad died last night and returned to the team today to prepare. I would think the fins rally around him and win this for him.

been viewing posts here first 7 weeks and appreciate the different perspectives so I'll put mine in here. perfect spot to ride a very pissed off Texans team. getting clowney back is huge as it will allow less attention to watt and allow brooks reed to slide in to inside LB, which is his natural spot. titans are very weak on their interior D line, inside LBs, and strong safety Wilson when it comes to stopping the run. the texans O line has 5 starters all grading out positive according to Pro Football Focus. Texans will duplicate what cowboys and bengals did and limit fitzy's attempts to 25-30 and let foster go crazy here. the titans are starting a rookie QB, RB, and left tackle....OUCH! titans are 1-3 SU at home and Texans won 3 of last 4 @ Nashville last 4 years. Fitzy is a liability when pressured, I understand, but he started 11 games last year for the titans and will pass on a lot of knowledge to his teammates how to attack this titans team. the titans have started their rebuilding phase as jake locker is done for this team. Texans have played good last 3 games and need this game as they are 3-4 and still in the playoff hunt. also, titans O line simply sucks. they allow tons of pressure and are weak in run blocking. their best lineman roos is gone and rookie lewan has only started against jaguars and redskins. the Texans receivers Hopkins and Johnson have a huge advantage vs a very weak secondary in coverage. Texans -3 4 units |

the broncos contained the pats run game last time at Foxboro and have been consistent stopping the run all year. actually, look at how the broncos ran on the pats last time out. and now the pats defense has more injuries o their defense? hey pats backers, just like quint said in the movie JAWS,,, "farewell and adieu you fair Spanish ladies, farewell and adieu you ladies of spain

Well its been almost a year since I posted here but I wanted to return to do my favorite strategy for nfl betting,,,fade tom brady in the big game. what people fail to realize is that brady is not the same QB that he was 10 years ago, leading his team to victory in the final minutes of superbowls. sure, he now sometimes is clutch these days in regular season games, but he has been choking his ass off every post season since 2005. don't think so? lets look at his last 3 afc championships:
2012 vs ravens: 29 for 54 completions (54%) 1 TD, 2 INTS
2011 vs ravens: 22 for 36 (61%) 0 TDS, 2 INTS
2007 vs chargers: 22 for 33 (67%) but only 209 yards, and 2 TDS, 3 INTS
it gets better. lets look at his overall playoff performances since 2005 in crucial situations:
2005: lost @ denver in divisional round and went 1 TD / 2 INTS (threw a INT on his last possession!)
2006: lost @ colts in afc championship and went 1 TD / 1 INTS (that INT was on the final possession!!)
2007: won vs chargers in AFC championship but: threw 3 frickin INTS!
2007: lost vs giants in superbowl and threw 1 freaking TD with that so called greatest offense in nfl history BS / 1 fumble lost / sacked 5 times / and went 3 AND OUT on the final possession!
2009: lost vs RAVENS in wild card round and: 2 TDS / 3 INTS / 1 fumble loss that led to a raven TD
2010: choked his behind off in divisional round vs jets and LOST. dont think so? lets look that that important drive in the 4th quarter of that game when brady got the ball for the first time in the 4th quarter and needed to bring the pats back. ok, 5 mins to go and on the jets 31 yard line. ok, brady sack, brady incomplete pass, then another brady incomplete pass, then a pats punt, then ANOTHER BRADY LOSS!
2011: went 0 TDS / 2 INTS vs ravens in afc championship and had no business winning that game. disagree? did you guys see his pathetic safety in the superbowl 2 weeks later vs giants when he threw out of the end zone to no receiver in the area? did tom brady lead his team back in that game? no
the last part is me copying and pasting from my post last year on 1/22/13, when I asked the same ? of "Are you guys that confident in Brady?" so don't get caught up in this brady BS hype. he has not been the same QB since they took away his coaches video camera in 2007.

but, to defend your argument of the candians game>> there were two shots that banked off the pipe that the canadians should have had a goal! it should have been been canadians 2-1, i agree. so, sorry to mess with you there bro, but the canucks dominated that game, right?

ya, i watched the game, i live here in pittsburgh. and i guess we are trolls when we dont feel like sending you crying towel posts of how you should have won but DIDNT win. and the canucks game? thats why you lay serious $ on the monelyline and not chicken garbage $ on your little "box value" bets when it comes to the obvious winner. go get some other guys to consolidate your loser picks and flood this forum. but again, i am a "troll" because am calling out a girl who lost yesterday and still want his LOSER forum post

why dont you get your facts straight before you make a post dipshit? ah dah pens are 11 or 12 straight in a row??? it was 12 and they just went 13 on your dumbass. and why am i still looking at your dumbass post today? the reason i ask is because that columbus ml play was just as fuckin stupid

your absolutely right. i can tell you first hand since i live here in pittsburgh. they are a 1 trick pony. all offense zero defense and not physical enough at all. bruins showing it now, flyers showed it last year in the playoffs, and canadians showed it in the playoffs during the 2009-10 season. its hard to get excited for this team when i kow what will come next month in the playoffs.

we are talking about a coach in his 2nd year coaching in the nfl and a basic rookie QB playing in his 7th game of his nfl career and all of a sudden we will crown him a superbowl king with this "pistol" offense? wake up guys

are you serious? the ravens have come up short with golden opportunities in the last 4 years and have 1 more chance to seal the deal. lets review is:
2008: they came 6 mins short of a chance to go to the superbowl before a flacco pick 6 and a chance to come back on the steelers 2010: they had a 14 point lead at halftime in the divisional round vs steelers. they choked in the 2nd half 2011: a dropped pass in the endzone and a missed fg to get to the superbowl now 2013? THE LAST RIDE AND LAST CHANCE? no more blown opportunities. THEY WIN

and now to add to my stats in my original writeup, tom brady INT on the final possession!!!

No other QB in the history of football would I rather have in the 4th Qtr than Tom Brady, and yes that includes Montana and Elway. what greatness are you referring to? regular season success? what has he done in the playoffs to warrant him as being a GREAT quarterback since 2004? dont get me wrong, i really like tom. as a matter of fact, he has won me 5 games and 0 losses this year. i bet the pats -3 superbowl last year. BUT,tom has not shown me that same clutch stuff since 2004. |
