Good points abizzo24 about UGA living dangerously but on the contrary you could say UGA is due to play a good game. I think the defensive issues last week were from rambo and olgetree trying to overperform and do to much since they had just come back. And yes Lattimore is a beast, but the combo of Marshall/Gurley isn't too shabby. I see this as a statement game for UGA and them winning in convincing fashion solidifying themselves as a nationtal title contender...UGA 27 USC 10 |

Think this line closed around kolschreiber +170...? Yes kol is most likely going to lose the first set but confused as to why the in-game live wagering has him at +700. Seems very high to me. I would figure that most +170 tennis dogs would be +450 or perhaps +500 after losing the first set of a best of 5 set match. Is kolschreiber hurt or something? Any insight would be appreciated...

What is the website that posts a chart of all the days basketball lines from the different Vegas Books? I thought it was Vegasinsider but I don't think that is it. The one I am trying to find highlights a line that has changed in the last 15 minutes. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you! |

Hi Nicky,
Thanks for your response. I agree with you, overall 5 dimes is a great book. Rather than a "problem", I would say what I am going through is more of an unnecessary inconvenience.
What you requested, I am almost certain is a money order, not a check. They send money orders up to 1k and then from $1,001-$3,000 send out cashier's checks. Once it arrives, I don't think either of us will have an issue cashing it. It is supposedly a U.S. Money Order either from WU or MG. However, it is odd that the folks at 5 dimes tell me that it would be better off to deposit the M.O. than cash it. I don't know why that would be the case...

Let me start off by saying that in my opinion, other then thegreek.com, 5 dimes is probably the next best all-around book there is. I don't play with thegreek.com because I don't see eye-to-eye with their general manager, Wally, but that is another story for another time.
I have been with 5 dimes for about 3 months now. I was down over all probably around 4-5k, but in recent times, over the last few weeks, I have actually won back around 3k. 5 dimes more or less has 3 withdrawl methods...moneygram, money orders sent usps, and cashiers checks sent fedex. Of course bank wire is also a method but for some reason whenever I mentioned a bank wire I was steered away from that method.
Ok now to my current issue. I wanted to withdrawl around $3,300 from my 5 dimes account. It's quite slow at my job right now and I had a couple things I wanted to payoff with my winnings. It's my money, I can do what I want with it right? Ok so here is how I broke down the $3300 withdrawl over the couse of a week or so. First Withdrawl method #1- Moneygram. A wonderful quick and convenient option. Often times you have the money in hand the same day or latest the next day after making your request. However, due to the strict limit of 1 moneygram transfer every 8 days with a max payout of $840, the mg method definitely has it's downfall. Withdrawl method #2- Fedex Cashier's Check. The check does get to you in 2-3 days but that doesn't do you much good unless you are very close with your personal banker. I just recently switched from Wachovia to Bank of America. I have been with B of A for around a month. I was unsuccesful at my attempt to cash the check at my local check cashing place (which they know me very well since that is where i send in my wu deposits). The mngr told me that cashing Cashier's Checks in the U.S. that are drawn from a Canadian bank is like pulling teeth, next to impossible. So I go back to B of A and deposit the $1,460 cashiers check and the mngr at B of A tells me it may be 30-45 days before the check clears into my account. I have never heard of such. On to withdrawl method #3- 1k Money order sent USPS. I requested the money order last friday and was told by management that I would most likely receive it on Monday or Tuesday. Well today is Thursday, and I still have nothing in my hand. I am leaving for Florida this afternoon for a Labor day wknd vacation. I was hoping (planning) to use that 1k for my weekend expenses. 5 dimes tells me it's "out of their hands at this point and they cannot control the mail system". That is a true statement, however I would say maybe 1 out of 5,000 pieces of mail gets lost in transit. You can send an envelope from Miami, Fl to Seattle, WA and it would probably get their in 4 days at most. If my money order was in fact mailed out on Friday from Ohio like I was told, I should have received it in Atlanta, GA bye now.
Now, in summary, to re-iterate what I said at the beginning I still believe 5 dimes is 1 of the top books these days. However when it comes to quick, easy, stressless, methods of getting your $$ out, they may not be at the top. Of course your $$ is safe but getting it may take longer than you expect. In closing, if I ran a top of the line sportsbook, I would want my customers to get paid and get the $$ in their hands as fast as possible for 1 main reason. The quicker the funds are back in our hands, the faster we will make more deposits and place more wagers. Speaking for the majority of people who wager online, of course there are a few exceptions, whether you want to admit it or not, the more you win and collect the more you will play and most likely lose in the end.
Thank you for you taking the time to read this.
I would very much like to hear your responses on this topic.
Have a good labor day weekend and be safe!
And goooo dawgs...sickem hoo hooo hoooo!
