These are just the top players (that I think) will play major roles in the teams offense. WRs and TEs are included but RBs are not. Who do you think can be the best, the surprising and the worst receiving unit of 2015 based on pure yards, productivity and spectecular catches?
Here is a little help:

I would say the Jets -2 because if the rosters dont change so much the Browns wont have a proper no 1 receiver with TD potential plus the Jets will suffocate Manziel or McCown with Bowles' blitz technique who has the right players to do it (especially the Richardson-Wilkerson-Williams trio in front)

I think with the day 2 drafties (Smith and Mouldin) along with the Fa signings, Jets have the most upside among the 32 teams going into the new season. This schedule won't be easy at all. 7-9 or 8-8 (with surprise wins) maybe this year and the year after that when they will roll. What do you think suuma?

I think all of us were tricked in some ways yesterday by the mysterious sources. None of the trades happened, dinner with prospects didn't mean anything and of course there were picks no one expected like Dorsett, Ray, Dupree. But one source proved to be extremely correct: the players. I regret not taking the hints which they made. Dante Fowler said he would be "stunned" if the Jaguars didn't select him with the third-overall pick. ? Kevin White said he expects the Bears to pick him at No. 7 if he's available. ? "If Chicago doesn't get me, I know that Cleveland will be there for me." - Danny Shelton ? CB Kevin Johnson said it would be “awesome” to play for the Texans shortly before the Texans picked him with the 16th pick. ? Shaq Thompson said he has received more interest from the Panthers than any other team. ? Here are some promising takeaways for Day 2: Ohio State WR Devin Smith on Sirius Radio says he "got a great feel" 49ers might draft him. Jay Ajayi says he's gotten the most interest from Cowboys, Ravens, Chargers, Jaguars. |

4 possible trade scenarios in Day 1:
I don't like them rumors about the 2nd pick, I believe the Titans will keep it and select Mariota. I can see a situation in which within the 12th pick, where the Browns would select a WR, the best 3 WRs would be gone. As the Redskins are willing to trade down tonight here is a trade option: Browns no. 12&19 for Redskins no 5 pick and the Browns selects Kevin White. A possible trade rumor rose today that the Dolphins like DeVante Parker so much they would like to trade up for him. The place they should target would be no. 10 (Rams). As scouts were not so high about Andrus Peat, the stock of Ereck Flowers can rise but he can be available at no. 14. A trade would be logical between these two teams: Rams no. 10 for the Dolphins no. 14 pick and the Dolphins selects DeVante Parker. Having 10 picks in a draft projects a trade up for the Broncos. The targeted team can be the Texans who has 9 so they don't really pursuit additional picks but they can use other ones to trade up later. The available prospect can be La'el Collins because you know, protecting Manning can't be anyone's duty. The Texans can be happy with their new 28th pick because a top 5 defensive tackle can fall to them: Texans no. 16 for the Broncos no. 28 pick and the Broncos selects La'el Collins. The Chargers' situation is very tricky because any top prospect can fall to them... Melvin Gordon, Andrus Peat or other top tackle player. These are the positions they should target BUT... 6 draft picks are just enough. The decision should come after they value the players and the offers because there sure will be offers: Chargers no. 17 for the Ravens no. 26 pick and the Ravens selects Melvin Gordon. |

23. Detroit Lions - Malcolm Brown DT
After Suh's departure, replacing him was probably the most obvious need among teams. That went well with the Ngata trade but at 23rd, I don't think they would mind landing another strong prospect next to him. 24. Arizona Cardinals - Kevin Johnson CB This pick can hurt some other teams below the Cards. They are gonna try to find a CB or an ILB prospect but McKinney and Kendricks are not my tastes so I stick with the best CB available. Safety is also a considerable position according to experts but I don't thin it would happen. 25. Carolina Panthers - Breshad Perriman WR I like how Dave Gettleman approaches NFL drafts and it can lead you picking the right one. The same as the team, because the 'best available' view is stronger for him than anyone else. Also, he has never drafted an O-lineman in the 1st round. Perriman has the upside and can be gone to Philly, Browns (if it's not for Parker) or even higher to Texans. Drops are the main issues teams have to examine, but he fits nice next to Benjamin. 26. Baltimore Ravens - Jaelen Strong WR In March, he was a widely considered 1st round pick and a fit for the Ravens, 6 foot 2, 4.4 40 yard, similar to Perriman. Ozzie Newsome should target the WR class early after missing out on it last year with just a 7th round Campagnaro. Although the owner and Flacco stated they have no problem with the corp, this can change in the war room. Just think about last year when Jerry Jones was convinced that Martin is their guy. Simple as that. 27. Dallas Cowboys - Eddie Goldman DT CB should be the target but the prospects haven't got the upside now. Then, LB position can be another need, Eli Harold OLB and Eric Kendricks ILB can be considered (Kendricks also visited the Valley Ranch which can be a good indicator). After that DE/DT prospects should be valued...after all the Cowboys have defensive needs. A lot. So this is a pick only Jones & Co. can predict if CBs are taken off the board. 28. Denver Broncos - Cameron Erving C First center taken here, there is an obvious need to protect Peyton and improve the running game in Denver. It can be a head-to-head race between T.J Clemmings and Erving, I decided to go with the latter because of Mike Klis from Denver Post (one of a few experts I trust) and Clemmings is believed to have a stress fracture. 29. Indianapolis Colts - Landon Collins SS First safety ticked off. Some of you may remember when on February, he was mocked to the Giants @9. Honestly, I believe that he won't be available here (Philly, Carolina). Eagles hinted on Landon Collins not being a first rounder for them and I believe this was a little smokescreen. This is the scenario when Colts should target OTs. 30. Green Bay Packers - Eric Kendricks ILB He can be off by the 30th, but if he's available the Packs should target him. Quite a no-brainer when you can move Matthews to the outside, but I wouldn't be sure about the pick because as it was the case by Arik Armstead, Kendricks is too good fit. 31. New Orleans Saints - Phillip Dorsett WR You can read about how Sean Payton has made up his mind recently and turned to running game. This could be true but a small but fast, deep-threat target never hurt after Kenny Stills is gone. Even if they have Brandin Cooks, there is no rule like you can't have two same WRs (Patriots are the example). 32. New England Patriots - Nelson Agholor WR Not really a need, you know the SB champions can draft anybody. Not completely on that side, they should consider Jordan Phillips after Wilfork. In two days, Chicago is gonna become the Draft City where dreams come true
and miracles can happen. GMs, scouts, experts, mock drafters and fans are
having tapes, stats, good guts, they arrange visits in order to find the best
prospect for them. As an outsider, you can't really tell whose name Goddell's
gonna say, mocking the draft can be pretty inaccurate: last year among draft
sites, the one with the most correct picks had 8. So don't take mine seriously. NOTE: The first part is a mock draft (1st round) with short explanations (without trades), then comes the trade possibilities and finally some 'nodes' which can ruin your remaining draft picks. |

Hey, it's gonna be a long post and I will explain my thoughts right away. 1. Tampa Buy Buccaneers - Jameis Winston QB You can't say there are no such things like certain picks in an NFL draft. But year after year most fans can pick the 1st overall pick well. I don't have much to say, it is known and confirmed. 2. Tennessee Titans - Marcus Mariota QB No matter which team can jump up to here or the Tennessee can sit here, Mariota is widely believed as a franchise qb even if the scheme he played in is only similar to the Eagles. Also, Ken hasn't been high on Williams recently. 3. Jacksonville Jaguars - Dante Fowler Jr. OLB This is where it gets tricky. Just think about last year when they took a shocking move picking Bortles instead of Mack. This time around the pick comes down to 3 prospects: Williams (best interior defender), Fowler (best fit in Bradley's defense) and maybe Cooper (best WR). My pick here is based on the needs of Jags and on the interview in which Fowler stated he would be shocked going elsewhere. 4. Oakland Raiders - Leonard Williams DE This should be a no brainer. It absolutely makes sense as he's the best available and the head coach's name is Jack del Rio. In any other case they got to target Cooper and stay away from White. 5. Washington Redskins - Amari Cooper WR Not a specific need, just a nice prospect who can help save jobs like Odell Beckham did last year (Eli's and Reese's). OLB/DE players could be added to generate a pass rushing circle (Kerrigan-Murphy-?). 6. New York Jets - Vic Beasley OLB The CB position in the Green Gang is more than set (Revis & Cromartie) along with the WR corp. Beasley would be a smart choice to increase consistency in pass rushing. 7. Chicago Bears - Danny Shelton NT Some of you might stop reading here beacuse of the pick but listen...John Fox is a defense guy, he is a fixer and Vic Fangio's 3-4 defense is still in need of playmakers. The WR class is deep, so they can fade White (NOTE: Fox had Von Miller drafted back in 2011 when the Broncos WR class was average and AJ Green and Julio Jones were both available). 8. Atlanta Falcons - Alvin Dupree OLB Pass rush, pass rush, pass rush. This is what it is all about in Atlanta where Dan Quinn can form this raw player into a sack-monster. Although, there are rumors, they would be much delighted with Beasley. 9. New York Giants - Brandon Scherff OG/OT In the 2014 draft they valued Beckham over Martin, both became miracles. So can they value White over Scherff this year? It has only a little chance but there should be bigger concerns about helping the run and protecting Manning. 10. St Louis Rams - Kevin White WR I don't like 'experts' who make some of their picks based on university and NFL team connections. Here, this is the case but only by chance. WVU gave both Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey to the Rams. It is more than probable White won't make it this far, in that case Peat (OT) can be a good choice. 11. Minnesota Vikings - Trae Waynes CB Strong prospect along with DeVante Parker to play under Mike Zimmer. It is 50-50, both positions can be targeted logically. Last year they were about to pick Gilbert, Mike Zimmer understands the importance of playing a top CB prospect in a division again Packers, Lions, Bears WRs. 12. Cleveland Browns - DeVante Parker Browns GM Ray Farmer can be the only one who stands between Parker and the team. They have this need, Parker is safe. Recently, I've read the team had private dinner with Perriman which could be a great indicator but you can't take him over Parker when Shelton is gone. 13. New Orleans Saints - Shane Ray DE/OLB I am in trouble here, giving that the next pass rusher prospects (Gregory and Ray) got in trouble as well. I picked Ray before he got caught possessing marijuana on Monday. This case paired with his toe injury makes his place uncertain at 13 but he is better now than Gregory. |

Hey guys this is my first posted pick i don't really follow the nhl so i don't really know the tricks or the important stats to search for. This is a raw stat sheet i made for todays Philadelphia - Carolina game:
GOALIES Emery <2>: 10-10-6 (in 10: 3.85-3.85-2.3) -> 4-6 [4g in loss, 2g in win] 'real 10': 3-7 0.892 [35sh/game-> 4g / 32sh/game-> 4g] 'real goals': 16 in 5 games Ward <1>: 20-22-5 (in 10: 4.26-4.68-1.06) -> 4-6 [3g in loss, 2g in win] 'real 10': 7-3 0.909 [25s/game -> 3g // 27s/game -> 3g] 'real goals': 13 in 5 games INJURIES Phi.: no 1st string, 5th lw, 2nd rw (top scorer), 2nd & 5th & 7th & 8th & 10th d Car.: no 1st string, 2nd rw, 5th & 9th d FAV / UNDERDOG Phi as home fav.: 5-5 (L3), 3-7 (U3) Phi in front game: 3-7 (L2), 5-5 (U1) Car as road underdog: 4-6 (L3), 8-2 (O2) REMARKABLE STATS Car is 3-7 su & 3-6-1 o/u in their last 10. Phi is 3-7 su & 2-6-2 o/u in their last 10. Ward is 4-1 su & o/u on the road. Ward is 3-2 su against Phi. Ward conceded 2 goals in the last 2 games against Phi. Emery is 2-3 su & o/u at home. Emery is 4-0 su against Car. Emery conceded 3 goals in the last 4 games against Car. Car is 4-1 su & 2-3 o/u against Phi. PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS Phi is out. Car is out. PUBLIC ML: from -115/-105 to -135/+115 <55-45%> O/U: 5.5u-120 <62-38%> Maybe i put too much emphasise on the goalies, in that column the first few numbers are statistical probabilities and real stands for the real scores. Both teams are cold with unimpressive 3-7 but i think they will score some today because of the injury wave in Philadelphia and because of Carolina's race in the draft lottery. Phi/Car over 5.5 - 2u

Only the fact that Murray's and Mathews' contracts worth together just $1 million more than McCoy's, makes these signings worthy and relevant..

As the news are at this point, Murray's gone choose the Eagles....
If this is the case, Jerry will lose the man, they could have built the franchise on (and not Dez), so they need someone similar. I have also read that AP couldn't get in terms with Vikings and probably a challenge from the Boys can be his last chance to win a ring. I would bet on this.. Ryan Mathews was the Eagles' early down plan until yesterday.. Despite the news, he only agreed with Philadelphia but he didn't sign anything. I can imagine he will back out from the contract but he expressed his willingness; leaving the Chargers. I think he would fit in the Vikes offense with Asiata, who could remain the goal line threat of the team. In this situation, the Chargers can use their draft pick to choose Melvin Gordon. So: Adrian Peterson (from MIN) to Dallas Ryan Mathews (from SD) to Minnesota Melvin Gordon to San Diego. Feel free to express your thoughts. |

After a non-playoff season, they take too many risks with the offense. Just the pure names: Foles, McCoy, Maclin and last year DeSean Jackson. Better defense this year but restructuring this chaotic offense can take time, i would bet the dallas win the division.
