What's up gman? Nice to hear from a familar face. The board is slowly getting this usual suspects back, I'm sure by the end of the week will have some more of the ole crew back with their quality input. I'm no doubt on the Bayou Bengals, just waiting for the book to open the line back up. IF it's at 3 or higher I will just play the moneyline. |

in College Football Ok here is where I am guys heading into week 1:
Bodog is slow as hell when it comes to payouts it seems. Been playing alot of poker over the summer on there and it seems the bigger the request the longer the payouts. So i decided to move on over to sportsinteraction for my football plays for not only that reason but for the quality and quantity of plays they have on there. |

UAB +20 (B+1) - Line opened at +21, and at some books it can be found sitting as low +18. Mississippi State should not be favored by almost 3 TDs over anyone. Yes they are an improved team, but the illusion has been created with their defeat of Auburn and Auburn's defeat of Florida. Throw in the look ahead factor: (State's upcoming schedule) 10/13/07 TENN 10/20/07 @WVIRG 10/27/07 @KENTY 11/10/07 ALAB and last year's matchup (MISS ST 16 UAB 10) and by the way UAB has TULANE next week. Trends:
Blazers are 15-6 ATS in their last 21 games as a road underdog of 10.5 or greater. Blazers are 25-11 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. Blazers are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games as an underdog. Blazers are 17-8-1 ATS in their last 26 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Bulldogs are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games as a home favorite of 10.5 or greater. Bulldogs are 8-22-2 ATS in their last 32 games following a S.U. loss. Prediction: 3rd stringer QB will make State one deminsional and a clock eater with their rushing attack. Dixon will rush for well over 100 yards (150+ is not out of the question against this UAB rush defense) with a couple scores, and will be enough for the win but not the cover. UAB has enough playmakers to put up a few scores and keep this one within the number. Miss State 31 - UAB 19 |

The LSU line is tricky this week due to the key injuries on the offense. QB Matt Flynn is reported to have a high ankle sprain and did not play at all last week vs Mid Tenn St. Also Top SR WR Early Doucet will not play due to a groin injury. Perrilloux fill in nicely last week in his first career start, also the young recievers stepped up to fill the shoes of Doucet.
The defense will still bring the pain and limit the COCKS scoring. But with younger players on offense for LSU, there could be mistakes causing a turnover or two. So look for South Carolina to maybe get some short field to work with.
I like LSU 24-10
and I think the UNDER maybe the better play... with LSU's stout "D" and Mile's conservative approach to limit the mistakes on his offense.
