Still early. They have made five field goals and are only losing by 14. A lot of time left.

These two teams have a close SOS but compare their efg%(one of the most important stats of judging teams) and that should change your mind.

Arkansas alumni here. We play a full court type pressing defense like WVU but the kryptonite for such a defense is having good guards. We all know UCONN has that. I'm not taking either but Ollie is building something there and I wouldn't want to bet against it.

Arkansas alum and Fayetteville resident here. The tide has definitely turned with this team. At first, we were happy with just competing but this team has proven it can stomp with the big dogs and I can bet CBB preached finishing in the forth quarter all week. This game is being played in my home town in Little Rock,AR and this will probably be the last SEC game ever at War Memorial Stadium. The stadium will be rocking!!!

I live in Fayetteville/NWA and I follow my hogs closely. We have a gigantic Offensive line and they all have playing experience. You couple that line with our triple headed monster of Collins/Williams/Marshall and you have a dangerous run game. With all that said, this game comes down to one player, Brandon Allen. If he keeps Auburn honest and prevents them from stacking the box, I don't think the 21 will ever be in doubt, if he has a below average game, this game will get ugly.

Ok, I'm an Arkansas homer but I follow the team closely. Two things we know for sure, Arkansas will run the ball successfully and our d-line will put pressure on the qb/cause difficulty for Auburn to run. Our secondary is definitely questionable but the defense is improved. I think CBB will try to play keep away and with our O-line and Rb's(Both rushed over 1000 yards and Alex Collins was the freshman of the year last year) I think he can pull it off. I'm not predicting an Arkansas win but unless Auburn scores on us quickly like Oregon did to teams last year, I think 21 point margin won't be easy to come by.

Arkansas guy here. Live in Fayetteville and follow team closely. This game is all about Brandon Allen. If he has an average to above average game, we will cover the points and possibly pull an upset but I wouldn't touch the money line. We have a great offensive line returning, so much so that sec caliber lineman will be on the bench. Our dline is also very good. Tre Flowers is one of the best defensive ends in the country and d.wise is also another good end on the opposite side(did the shimmy dance last year after sacking Johnny Manziel ) along with darius philon anchoring the inside along with highly touted dt bijon Jackson.....in other words our d line and o line are good. Our line backers will be average to above average and our secondary will be average. Our wr Corp May shock a few People. Going to stop here and and say that we will run the ball effectively and we will get to the qb. The ex factor once again is Brandon Allen. If he minimizes mistakes and manages the game, they cover.

imprezive, well thought out analysis and work by you.any angle we can try and get helps. I will only speak for myself....I trust the system as it has made me money(and 'pre' system) last 3 years so I don't get into all the work that you are doing trying to figure out why vegas would set a line a couple points different than kenpom rankings and estimates. I would drive myself whacky trying to figure out what makes the linesmakers tick and set numbers for whatever reason and there are plenty of intangables from which they can do this. again, if we could know why they would set a number we need to take our talents elsewhere.i continue to believe that vegas sets lines to get + money, doesn't always work that way, as we know money can move lines, as well as a number of other things. so without further comment..as a recovering alcoholic I try to keep it simple and just wager system and don't 'confuse' myself. again, we are garden variety bettors and everyone is different. just giving my two cents here! gl tonight! ryno |

KingScorpio, I think what you are doing for the most part is betting against the public because most times, the public money is on the favorite. You may want to track bet% on the plays as well. You might find a correlation between favorites and bet% i.e. 60+% on a favorite is 3-10 ATS etc.

Arkansas alumni and Fayetteville resident here. This team is the real deal this year but I won't even take them to win on the road just yet. With that being said, this is arguably the best Arkansas team in over ten years.

Rice has one the top 60 efg% in the country. I think it would be tough to hold them to 29 with the pace that Texas plays at. Good luck though. I'm not on a total side.

The same reason you should have not last night. Yes SMC seemed like the easy play last night but the RLM was very much alive last night just like tonight. 81% is on SMC but the line moves from 3.5 to 2.5. I'm taking Hawaii for that very reason, also Hawaii matches up decently in this game.

I lean UNCG because they are an elite 3 point shooting team going up against one of the worse teams in the country in defending the three. That stat alone keeps a lot of teams that aren't as athletic in games. Belmont comes to mind. 3p shots are a great equalizer of talent/athleticism.

Adding San Fran/Oregon Over 164
Short and sweet. Two teams that can shoot and play fast paced games with short possessions. They may score in the 180's before it's over. 165 would be enough for me.
