Don't post much, really like the Razorbacks tomorrow to win straight up. Post-game interviews were positive. +145 money line right now. Good luck all-

Guess you forgot about Miss St. Auburn (41-34) and LSU against Oregon (40-27). SEC can put up points too. Big Ten??? Purdue loses to Rice, OSU squeaks by Toledo, Minny loses to New Mexico St. (first road win in 11 years). PSU crushed by Bama...admit Wisky looks solid tho.

Hogs usually lay an egg after a big win, and before Wed hadn't beaten Kentucky in 10 YEARS...
Auburn is coming off a heartbreaker too tho. |

This has been the worst I've ever seen. Top Chef, red carpet, almost no horse background. No wonder the ratings are in the tank.

According to HRTV, Rule is 50/50 for the Derby.

Now if you were assured of being in the starting gate, then it makes sense. All future bets have the same risk. You never know if the star quarterback is going to get hurt. Like djbrow said, it's all about risk/reward. |

I don't play many turf races, but I notice some pretty good mutuals in them. I've read Beyer and others admit the speed figs are not as accurate on turf, due to the differences in distances at each track. Also many horses switch back-and-forth b/t dirt, synthetic, and turf. Just wanted to get opinions on how others approach these races.

I don't know if I'd call it a sucker bet. Horse racing in general requires a lotta luck. Your horse could lose the rider, stand in the gate, get traffic trouble, etc. The chance he/she may not even make it to the gate is just another factor, and if someone thinks it's worth the risk at 20-1 in March instead of 5-2 in May, so be it.
My college roommate had $20 on Lil E Tee at 100-1 in a future bet. I didn't hear anyone calling it a sucker bet after the race. |

Wow, I thought the East Coast-West Coast feud was just a rap thing.
I just hope they meet in Hot Springs, if only for the good of the sport. |
