I hear ya! Try listening to a Green Bay Packer game with Joe Buck commentating. He's a huge Bears fan and despises the Packers, yet every Sunday look who's sour mouth shows up, Troy Aikman(also hates the pack) & Joe freaking Buck. It's unbearable (no pun intended). For the past 3 years I've watched games on mute with the radio by my side. Absolutely terrible yet year after year there he is. Take care & good luck to all covers members!!

Good morning everybody,
I don't bet very often on sports but had a thought in regards to probability in sports betting regardless of capping. There are often times in sports when things that don't "look right" occur to affect $ in a big way. People always jump to the conclusion that sports on many levels are "fixed". I refuse to believe this is the case because sports on all levels from 5th grade buckets to NFL pros is a very passionate and competitive "business" if you will. I know people could hit 30 games in a row or a 20 team parlay but has anyone ever seen for example... a large slate of NCAA games or NBA games or even an NFL Sunday where each and every underdog or favorite has covered the spread. If each bet has equal probability of covering you should expect this to happen as if a large parlay were to hit. Has anyone seen this happen before or even to the point where 90% of favorites or underdogs have covered the spread in a given slate of games?? Just a thought because it interests me and I always respect the covers folks' opinions. I hope everyone has a great day and enjoy the March Madness!! For it has just begun |

And IMO, when vegas sets lines that swayed from the norm it's usually for a reason. GL tho man we shall see. |

I would tread lightly..... I feel the line should be 205 at best, IMO when the lines seem so off like that it's for a reason. GL with your bets

I rarely post plays let alone make them. I follow my team, the Milwaukee Bucks and believe over the season I have picked up great situational plays. Call me crazy but I love the....
BUCKS +7 / OVER 214 Parlay GL gentleman! |

My cousin actually is always texting me pictures of winning bets ... $40, $50 dollars.. hahaha. If he only knew I had $5000 on the same game and lost. It's really just a pathetic life. I mean, why was I watching Kent State vs Arkansas State? Why was I praying for South Carolina to score a TD instead of kicking a fg to win it by 2? Why was I pounding my head on my bed when Les Miles through it on three straight plays? Tono Romo's pic with 2 mins left.... it goes on and on. I honestly think I've bet every single nationally broadcasted game in the past 2 years. Hockey, football, basketball, baseball, even soccer. Do you know how many hours of life that is? Watching gamecast on my iphone praying for the Bobcats to score so that the game vs the Pistons could go to overtime? The hardest part is figuring out how to fill all the xtra time in your day once you stop gambling. Not sure what to do Hang tough friend. Sometimes it takes things like that in life to really wake a person up. I'm only typing this because I have a best friend who led a similar betting style... The best thing to do is straight up cold turkey stop, but i realize it isn't that easy. My friend was a farmer in Wisconsin that couldn't stop betting..... Before he knew it he lost the farm that was just inherited to him as well as his wife and little girl. It was a tragic situation but I tried to be there for him every way I could. He was able to quick cold turkey after about 3 years of hard gambling(the guy would put a grand on a cricket game if there was a line) and turned his life around completely. Just know that your not the only one out there with these kind of issues and stay as tough as ya can. Life is about decisions imo and you can always start today!! Take care man and I wish ya truly the best as I'm sure all of us gamblers do. |

It's one thing to disagree bro but dam you hate every single chance you get. It's sportsbetting and the NFL....it's supposed to be fun and we are all supposed to be working together on sites like these because each gambler's guidance is all we really have against the "book". Come on man splash a little sunshine in your face and drink a tall glass of water. Ps..... I've always been a packer fan my whole life so yes i am bias. But to say the PACKERS, with the best QB rating in playoff history in Aaron Rodgers and with our D finally tackling has no chance against a team who just had a bye and is starting a noob in Colin Kapernick?? San Fran fans.......I would be the worried ones. You know Rodgers is gonna toss on that belt multiple multiple times. Just be sure to have a few EXTRA beers to numb that pain in your behind. |

Thanks for the insult though I'm not sure what less I could have expected from some of you. If you want to know the truth I started the NFL/Ncaa football season with $500. I am up a little over $3,000 so far and decided to put $2500 on Romney. I never used to be big into politics at all. I am a 26 year old guy who grew up on a farm in good ol' Packer country. I've busted my ass every single day to earn every buck I've ever made. I work primarily off of commission which is a scary way to live, but it's all I know. With the way things are my last resort would probably be the military, but I hope it never comes to that. I've seen first hand what some of my family and friends have gone through in the past few years.....and to be honest it's pretty depressing. My primary reason for getting concerned with politics is my two year old daughter. I grew up in some pretty amazing times in America. Times I believe we can have again and times I am fearful my daughter will never get to enjoy. The more knowledgeable I got over the past few years, I realized the more conservative I became. I believe in the people of America....not the government. We have the ability to govern ourselves. America spends an enormous amount of our current GDP on something that clutters every system it touches. I could probably go on for hours but my money is on real change..... and if it fails so be it, we'll all move on. Good luck to all you guys w/ the rest of football season and ALWAYS........... GO PACK GO!!! |

If Obama gets re-elected, after what this country has gone through, and the path we are on, I feel completely and utterly doomed for myself and for my family and friends.
