Texas A&M is going to be completely dismissed as an SEC competitor... Especially with their on-the-field antics.

This is the time of year that Covers starts to get bogged down. Who is ready for the occasional Covers outage due to traffic. Maybe they can get some more virtual memory or bandwidth to support the traffic. Just saying.

The regular season is almost upon us and it is time to get some NFL futures in. Voice your opinion on these two questions that present some current value at the books. Will Green Bay win less than 10 games? WD |

Agnostic, in this context, is an unwilling conference to foster a difficult schedule for the aforementioned teams. WD |

However, I hope that some books will offer up some value on this line. I will be watching this one closely. WD

I agree with a couple of the others here regarding the Florida offense. The SEC is tough and having a sub-par offense will only put Florida further back. 30-1 is big but I don't see it panning out...

Alabama is going to gain a lot of attention but will not pull off a hat trick this year. Ohio State and Louisville will not make it to the Championship for the very reason that they play in agnostic conferences. I can see South Carolina and Ohio State being public favorites but I agree that Georgia makes it back to the Dome.

Here we go, Seven days until CFB. Value has been created which means you need to get your wagers in before prices are inflated (some already are). Futures can be a fun way to watch CFB and should be on your radar when you are shopping for a competitive advantage during your comparison of the locals, online, or Vegas books. The idea here is that the future's bettors give a season long macro view of the CFB scene. Consequently, you can find an edge from the books out there if you shop around. Other trends that I have seen move at some books are Notre Dame under 9 games and Michigan State over 8.5. If you can get either one of those at some sort of solid value then I suggest massaging that idea. In another debate, conference and overall champions are hitting the future's market in a much more perpetuated behavior than years past. We look at Georgia and Oregon to hold some volume in the futures market and look at Oregon (projected to win ~11 games). Oregon has moved from 6/1 to 8/1 or 9/1. Yes, they lost Chip Kelly but the value still exists. However, my championship team this year is going to rest in the hands of the Dawgs. Georgia is sitting at 22/1 and need to pull out a couple tricks to thump the SEC populous. Some have said a couple sharp bets have been put on UGA and I can see that line of thinking. The books have created value and in my opinion have deluded the Dawgs value a bit (due to Alabama and Ohio State hype). Incidentally, I am going heavy on Pittsburgh U to win over 6 games and light on UGA to win the BCS. However, opinions are welcome on your future wagers and ideas. Let's entertain some quality debate on where solid money is going. WD
