As a result there has been federal investigations into overtime pay, as officers have earned over 130K in additional overtime compensation. I believe the lack of man-power in the department has created an a thick blue line that is protecting corrupt officers, reducing accountability as well as accuracy and is creating a cavileer atmosphere where officers are taking justice in to their own hands. I am abosolutely distraught over this latest headline. After his parents were incarserated for drug charges, he lived with his grandmother and graduated from Milby High School in Houston.
