Yeah - heard that too about the ref.  Im trying my best not to think about the game yesterday and just move on - but that was a tough way to start - not only for Croatia - but for the tournament as a whole.

Brazil just didn't work out.  Life gets in the way.  Family gets older, kids have sporting events and dancing recitals etc...  While I would love to be there - just in a time in my life where it is tough.

The US does not present a goal scoring threat – and wont be able to stop anyone from getting chances either.  The Ghana match will be close – but the Portugal and Germany matches should be no contest and the US goes home with either zero or one point.  Portugal and Germany duke it out for the group, and both advance.  Ghana still too inconsistent on defense.

I have two questions, please.  At first, I thought US rockbottom and  < 2.5 points were almost identical. Now I see if both lose to Port and Ger and tie v each other there could be a different result.
I couldn't find the < 2.5 points option at % Dimes. Did I miss it somewhere.?
Question 2: I tailed your Cameroon +1/2, PK with Heritage sports. But I don't know what it means, and couldn't find their rules to explain it. Can you help?

In regards to question 2: Cameroon is +1/2 goal and you have them as a pick em in REGULATION time only. So, if its 0-0 at the end of the 90 and extra time, you will win (+1/2 goal) and push on the pick em.

Obviously, if Cameroon is ahead, they win the game and you win both plays.....

Basically, you need them to win "outright" or be a "draw". Hope this helps!

Is there any way finding out WHO the referee will be for any particular match and what country they might hail from? 


And oh, I hope none of the refs attack a player and the fans go out on field and kill, castrate, and cut up "said" official which recently  happened at a SA match in the past year

That is a pretty ominous first 10 minutes for Cameroon.

They better straighten out their defensive marking or they are going to get blitzed.  Mexico doing a great job so far of pressing Cameroon high up the field - and winning the ball quickly.

But is there Extra Time in the Group stage games... I thought those end at 90 mins even if it's a Draw?

Greek TV announcers would disagree. I'm torn; I think this should get called 50% of the time. A *very* close call from what I saw.

Agreed, but the lack of finishing in the box is still plaguing them.  

Hate watching these games on my computer at work.    And so does my boss!!

If Mexico wants to play this attacking defense so high up the pitch - Cam will get breaks.  They have to adjust to this and be able to pass their way out of the traps.

I hope peoples opinion of Brazil has been affected by last nights mediocre performance and instead of -400 vs Mexico we get -300 or -275, Brazil will trash this Mexico side, I'm regretting putting money on them already, So unorganized, It's crazy.

Twenty-something minutes in and any Cameroon backer should feel god-blessed for this game to still be tied. 

Good news for Neymar for top goal scorer bettors: Brazil will put 3-4 in the net, and probably won't have to break a sweat to do so. If it's Brazil, not Mexico, this game is 2-0.

Pretty simple. 

Cameroons man marking on defense is atrocious and they are getting killed on the flanks.  That must change.

Also - Mexico strategy is very good.  This high press the minute Cameroon gets the ball has been very successful.  Cam must adjust.  They have to be faster to break, and they have to present options to the man on the ball.  You can beat this with three or four good passes and then you are on the break.  Mexico is not giving Cam any space at all.

You going to play Mexico ML 2H?  Sorry, but I didn't see what you were on this match.  I might take them, depending on the line.  I think they can break through and get one.   Assuming a 0-0 HT score line of course.

Before I see the HT highlights...

The first goal I think was offside but very close.

The second goal - because the ball came off of the defenders head - it should have been a goal.  Dos Santos was in an offside position - but the offside should not have been called because it first came from a corner kick, then off the head of the defender.

We will see here at HT.  Im not at home so I don't have DVR....

Hey Van,

Mexico is now plus money at the half (+120).

Correct me if I am wrong...
If Mexico wins now, we lose 1 unit.
If we hedge with one unit on Mexico and Mexico wins we are up 0.2 units
If we hedge one unit on Mexico and its a draw, we lose 0.5 units
If we hedge one unit on Mexico and Cameroon wins we are up 0.02 units. 
So, isn't our biggest risk to do nothing and our best move to hedge on Mexico for one unit?

The problem I have with a tight of side call like that the advantage rarely seems to go to the attacker which is what's meant to happen, i do lean the same opinion as you though i think his shoulder was very marginally putting him off side. The second goal was also as you said wrong call but the lineman can be forgiven for thinking that came of a mexican head as it just skimmed off the cameroonian
