Look - I am just posting what I am betting and steering clear of all the drama in here. I didn't ask for it - but I realize what covers is these days - a bunch of junkies looking for a fix.
I am about 5.5 units down (not including futures which appear to be pretty bad). That can be made up in a day, or my losses could be doubled in a day.
We are 1 week in to this tournament. About 20% of the games have been played. For any of you that have a crystal ball - or knew I was going to lose - go right ahead and use my picks as you like. We all make our own decisions here.

However, I have read these boards long enough to know which posters are worth following and I have followed you for a while. I don't necessarily bet what you bet, but YOU HAVE THE BEST INSIGHTS ON THIS SITE. I always make sure to take into account what you have to say. But the bets I decide to make are my own and people need to learn that and just be quiet if they have nothing productive to say.

Thanks - and I am very happy to be wrong on the USA. If they get a result against Portugal I am going to have to start looking in to a quick trip down to Brazil for the quarters - and will be very happy to do it.

Just want to say ESPN is doing a great job of coverage - I am very impressed with everything they're doing before after and during the matches.The music, graphics, pronunciation of names and teams and most importantly analysis. Lastly they are explaining things to the noobs (but implicitly) and not talking down to them or over simplifying as if to a child, all the while never ignoring the advanced analysis nor frutsrating those who know the obvious before it is ever spoken.
However it seems that not only ESPN but the world is talking about Spain's implosion just a little too much.
Let's give some credit to Holland and Chile both teams worth more than they are getting.
