• Although Peru have nothing to play for in Theory this is still a  huge game for them and their travelling support. Peru haven't won a game at the World Cup since 1978 and will be desperate to restoe national pride with a win here 
• Australia's only goals in this tournament have come from the penalty spot, going forward they offer very little and will struggle to score in this game., Australia's starting CF Nabbout may also be out for this game after injuring his shoulder in the last game
• Australia have lost all their previoud WC encounters with South American sides
• In Peru's opening two games we seen them lose to Denmark in a contest that they really should have won comfortably and then a narrow 1-0 loss to the French in a scrappy game that could have gone either way. 
• The odds suggest Peru have nothing to play for but it couldn't be further from the truth, expect Australia to fall short as Peru return home with their heads held high

Farfan is out.... but he wasnt really a starter anyway. His injury in training sounded scary tho and theres no telling how that might effect a teams psyche.... However, Peru have looked better than their results suggest. They gave France a helluva game and prolly deserved a result vs Denmark. Best team to not score or get a result imo... I expect an inspired effort in front of large fanbase
