Greece/Ivory Coast OVER 3.5 Cards @ +110 (1.00 to win 1.10)
Somebody is going to be desperate by the end of this game, and these are two teams that are not shy to take cards on a normal day at the office. I think they are built to frustrate each other in terms of style and desperation will heat tempers. GL

terrrible play on the over this morning
adding one play I like quite a bit:

Once Japan sees the greece score they are going all steam ahead to get the win here and I think they might. I love where the over is here I would be shocked if it doesn't go over and I think we will start to see more cards as greece frustrates Ivory coast through the second half so I am going to buy out of my Colombia play. If Japan can win here and advance it will salvage my futures and my world cup in a big way.

Colombia/Japan--->OVER 2.5 @ -109 (1.09 to win 1.00)
Italy/Uruguay--->OVER 2.5 @ +105 (1.00 to win 1.05)
just can't seem to make a good decision anymore 3 yellows and then there is no booking on the penalty kickits been a long tournament but I think there will be some good spots to make money in the knockout stage so I will keep plugging away

Truthfully it could be a lot worse...it has felt a lot worse. I still like my chances of getting out of this thing in the green, especially if Benzema or Muller can keep dumping home goals...Uruguay to reach the quarter final survives today, but now they have to play Colombia and probably without Suarez. Not particular confident in them to get it done. France on the other hand to advance to quarter final at +100 will be a great price whether they play Nigeria or Iran. This tournament has been a big learning experience for futures in particular and I am confident that I will do better in the future as a result of some of my mistakes here, so in that sense it has been a very good tourney.

France/Ecuador- My intial lean here is towards the OVER as Ecuador will be pooring it all on to get the win, and I think they will leave themselves exposed against a team that CAN and WILL punish you. Unfortunately the line is steep and I will most likely not make a play.
Honduras/Switzerland- This line is nowhere near where it should be, and as a result there is excellent value backing Honduras +1 @ +125. As far as the soccer is concerned, I think that Switzerland are the stronger team but to back them to win by more than 1 at this price is crazy from my perspective. As of now I am making no play, but I do like the value being offered with Honduras and will keep an eye on it. Given that Honduras aren't officially eliminated I expect them to go for the win and this could open the game up for more goals, even a late Swiss goal that could give them a 2 goal lead, and this is my hesitation as well as why I lean towards the over.

Early thoughts for tomorrow:
France/Ecuador- My intial lean here is towards the OVER as Ecuador will be pooring it all on to get the win, and I think they will leave themselves exposed against a team that CAN and WILL punish you. Unfortunately the line is steep and I will most likely not make a play.

Iran/Bosnia- Although I am hesitant to back a team that is already eliminated I think that the price being offered and the tactical changes that Iran have to make will bode well for Bosnia. Iran need to win to go through and this will call for a change in tactics. They are yet to score, and truthfully haven't even tried to. Granted they have defended very well, they won't be able to defend with 11 men the way they have in the previous matches. Bosnia have nothing to worry about, they are playing with house money, and I think this will let them play a bit looser and more free, ultimately I think this will help their attack. As a team that has never been to the world cup I think it will still mean something to the program to get a win in this game and they will still play to do so. While I have been impressed with Iran, I think the change in strategy might be enough to leave them vulnerable at the back, and I don't think their attack is so dangerous that Bosnia can't handle them. As of now I lean towards Bosnia @ +112, a really good price, considering where this could have been if Bosnia were to win in their last outting. I would not want to be on the over here, because if Iran strike first I imagine they will do what they do best, and park it with 11 men behind the ball.
Argentina/Nigeria- I actually think we are being offered a pretty good price here for Argentina, and this is likely because of their less than impressive performance in their last game, and Nigeria's somewhat impressive win over a publicly backed Bosnia side. Argentina are yet to get into stride and I think they will be motivated to have a good game before the knockout stages, and I think they will match up well against Nigeria. For Nigeria, they will likely look for the draw, but if they go down a goal, they do not want to go down by 2 trying to get back in the game, as a 1 goal Iranian win would then put Iran through. Hard to know how they will come out but hesitant make a play on either side here.

To Qualify- Group H: Belgium/Russia @ +100 (1.00 to win 1.00)
also looking into:
USA/Germany--->OVER 2.5
I think the USA know that they will need to score tomorrow if they want to draw or better, as I just cannot see them holding this German side from scoring. The one thing stopping me from locking this play in now is what happens if the score is 1-1....this will mean that one team already had the temporary drama around losing the game and will be happy to be level, the other team will feel the pressure of blowing game and will be content to draw. If the game is tied in the 2nd half both teams will play more safely, and I can see a this bet being the type that looks great at halftime and fizzles out into nothing...still thinking about it
Ghana +0.50
I think Ghana showed how their aggressive style can frustrate a European side against Germany and I think they will be a handful for Portugal as well. Again I have concerns here about the drama with this team and I am not sure I want to back them given that. Aside from that Ronaldo is kind of due for a moment or two of brilliance and I would hate to wager against him and watch him do exactly what we all know he is capable of. On top of that, the half of a goal might not be as big of a bonus as it seems as both teams will desperately looking for the winner towards the end and someone will probably get it. Perhaps I will look at the PK as another option but I'm still unsure.

I think Belgium will win this game, and I do not think SK will score a goal. I think SK are pretty much packed up and Belgium have the motivation to clinch the top spot. Because a draw will clinch that I expect Belgium to tighten things up defensively quite a bit after taking a 1 goal lead, and I think this will bode well for a win to nil wager. The moneyline is a bit steep but their may be some value on this, I will re evaluate once I have a line.
Algeria/Russia-
Hard to know what will come here. Algeria have proven they can score and Russia have not. Russia have proven they don't concede much and Algeria haven't. Who will dictate the game is a complete mystery to me and I can't find an edge on way or the other. Somehow Russia still have a chance at getting through and I think as we saw with Greece, a team can find motivation in the fact that they haven't yet played their best football and can still go through, and pull their best match out of the hat when it counts most. Algeria may have already peaked and come down to life a bit, and as a result I will let my pre-tournament future ride, although I am not particularly confident about it.

on the bright side Muller is tied for 1st in the golden boot race and Benzema is just 1 goal back...both teams looking good to advance one more round and if I can hit one of my golden boot plays it will salvage the whole tournament for me...

Chile will need to play aggressively in this match in order to have a chance at advancing. Truthfully I cannot see them drawing 0-0 in the way that Mexico did so they will need to score to have a shot. They do have a strong attack and I think they will give the Brazilian backline trouble at times. However, this Brazil side just has too much firepower not to score and I think they will do so. If Brazil has any lead in the 2nd half things will start to open up and they have the weapons to finish the game on the counter attack. My gut feeling is that the Brazil offense finally clicks the way we all expected it to in this game, which is too bad for this Chile team that I thought could make a real run, they are just running into this Brazil team at the wrong time and the wrong place.

Not much to say here, getting out of my Uruguay future, with a team that is clicking, has great chemistry, has an amazing crowd at every match, and is in excellent form. Uruguay are a strong side but the loss of Suarez not only will have physical effects but perhaps psychological ones as well. I'm not extremely confident Colombia advance, as I think this match up is closer than a lot of people are giving credit for, however, I'd rather be on this team all things considered right now, and I'm happy to back them here and hope for the best. The key to the game for me is NO PENALTY KICKS ALLOWED.

To Reach Quarter-Final: Uruguay +140 (1.00 to win 1.40)
Colombia Advances @ -190 (2.00 to win 1.05)
Brazil/Chile OVER 2.5 @ 140 (1.40 to win 1.00)
Glad I bought out of Uruguay. Really can't believe that Brazil/Chile OVER didn't hit but that is part of the difficulty at this stage. So happy Colombia are onto the quarters, but not sure how their defense will hold up against an attack with this much firepower. Don't see either team keeping a clean sheet in that one, but I imagine the O/U will be at 3 or just too pricey so it might just be for viewing pleasure. I definitely think Colombia have the ability to defeat them, but that doesn't mean I am confident enough to put money on it. We will see what the prices look like.
Amazing that after this painful stretch if it weren't for my futures I'd be in the green
