Michael Young just singled in the third to raise my streak to 5 on both BTS and BHS! Nice hit! 

Jose Batista singled in the 1st inning, bringing me to 11 on BTS/BHS!

Thank you Texas Rangers for blowing 2 late leads with 2 out 2 run homers in both the 7th and 8th innings. When I saw the listed pitching match-up before the game I liked the Over 8 but loved the Texas pick even more. How wrong I was. You shouldn't be bringing in Arther Rhodes in a 1 run game, that is for sure.

Usually when I like a team/side and the total I go for the team/side.

Well the good news from yesterday is I saw my Yankees pound Oakland in person 10-3. We missed Granderson's HR in the 1st but got to see Cano dont you know go deep! Great game and of course lots of Yankee fans. I try to catch the Yankees every year but it's my first time catching them in Oakland since 2001 when I lived in the Bay. Great game and got to share it with old friends. Now it's off to Spokane Washington.

Now the bad news. Miguel Cabrera couldn't get a hit or more accurately the Twins didn't pitch to him as they walked him 3 times. At any rate my BTS streak walked away too at 7. Thats 4 times in a row, I either get stopped at 7 or 8. The other bad news is Arizona picked yesterday to end their 7 game winning streak. I should have been a homer and went with the Yankees but I hate doing that most of the time. both streaks go down in flames.

It's amazing that we just passed our 2000th post in the 25 Dime Club. Bamabilly had the honors of posting it and it couldn't go to a nicer guy. This club has succeeded beyond my wildest expectations. We are by far the #1 thread on Covers. Thats an accomplishment we can all be proud of. Thanks to everyone for contributing. There is no doubt that there will be more good times had on this thread.

What is wrong with us?! We could all be streaking if we just would have picked the Yankees, yesterday. It was my first impulse, but I denied it and ended up in that Rangers trainwreck. Today I will not be making the same mistake. Onward to victory: Bronx Bombers +110
