What is wrong with us?! We could all be streaking if we just would have picked the Yankees, yesterday. It was my first impulse, but I denied it and ended up in that Rangers trainwreck. Today I will not be making the same mistake. Onward to victory:Bronx Bombers +110

-------- I'm sorry about your loss I had no idea that we were on opposite sides. I think the Heat -4.5 and the Mariners -114 are both good picks for us but I can't decide which one to go with.

Congratulations, SmoothD, for starting this megathread! 2,000 posts and counting! I am proud to be a part of the Club and enjoy reading everyone's posts daily. Let the good times roll!
I appreciate the sentiments Bama but honestly it's guys like you, Quad, Getrdonrite, AgentCooper, Manny, Sovicious4u and all the others that have made this club successful. There are way too many guys to name but I appreciate each and every one of you that have made this a success and a beacon for guys to bond and chew the fat. I know for a fact that we have many readers who never post but nevertheless read our posts everyday. Also it's a testament to the spirit of our Club that we are drama free. So people on Covers know they can come here share their thoughts, ideas and insights without being judged or ridiculed. The only perception that I would change is the tendency for some of our other members to not post when they're on a losing streak. I encourage everyone to keep posting win or lose. I literally look forward to interacting with you guys on a daily basis. So again thanks to all of you for making this thread such a smashing success.

Bad news for Dallas,
besides Nowitzki's finger injury, is fact that Heat, other than
James/Wade, were just 13-45 from floor in Game 1; Bosh will not go 5-18
every game and he gets open shots. Heat is now 9-0 at home in playoffs,
Dallas has won five of last six on road. Miami is 6-3 against spread as a
playoff home favorite. Dallas bench shot 4-22 from floor in Game 1;
they won games in Thunder series when bench provided some scoring punch.
37% shooting with only six offensive rebounds usually adds up to a loss
at any level of basketball. Will be interesting to see the adjustments
each coach makes for this game.

Agreed. I hope Zach Duke pitches at home like he did in his debut against Houston on the road! Also, the Nationals have a tendency to struggle on the road, winning just 29 of their last 94 as visitors. BOLA! ARIZONA -123
