Definitely taking the over in the NBA game tonight...easily the best

Congrats to any of you that stayed on Philly as they got the win.
Only 4 games on the board for Monday and just one play for us...slow start to the week.
Cardinals are a play too but don't like the idea of laying that kind of
juice on an ice cold team. This is their second slump of the season.
Scratching them from the official plays but results of the series will
count towards our series record no matter what.

There is a ton of season left...we will play this system until the last week of August. The good news is that this system gets stronger as we collect more data and the season progresses. Because we had a tough start, the average units bet per play are still pretty small. Be very careful with your $/unit amount. We were down 30 units at one point...while I don't think we'll have that big of a swing again, it's important that you stay within your comfort zone. Once you build a cushion, there shouldn't be any problems, but if you look through this thread you'll see it took us some time to get where we are now.
We've gained about 50 units in the last 30 days, which sounds great but we started off in a very big hole. I suggest starting out with at least 75 units, no matter when you start the system.

Here's a week by week breakdown of units won/lost so far:
Week ending:
5/9: -2.2 units 5/16: -26.4 units 5/23: +18.1 units 5/30: +4.4 units 6/6: +10.4 units 6/13: +24.1 units
TOTAL: +28.4 units
You can clearly see that we got killed by that second week in May. Since then, we've managed to do well, gaining over 50 units. I figure we'll have a negative week or two sprinkeled in from here on out, but I don't expect to get crushed for 26 units in a week again. If this week goes well, we should have plenty of cushion built for any situation. Finally the system is showing it's potential.

Thanks guys. June has been good so far. It's fun to get the wins but I'll reserve any celebrating until we cross the 100 unit mark for the season. We are a very far from that. We're entering the main part of the season now where we should be able to profit heavily and we are building a nice bankroll. Let's keep it steady and maintain course. Lots of work to do still.

I was wondering if you realized tho, that you had 25% of your bankroll in play for Friday night's games??
It's nice most of them won.. but when they don't.. be careful. I don't think anyone should have even close to that amount of their bankroll in play on any one given night. Two bad days in a row and you're pretty much busto.
Best of luck the rest of the weekend!

Great job Leprechaun, I disagree with kreature, you increase your wagers because our banroll went up. I have been doing alot of research on money management, you are doing it right. Bet more when winning and bet less when losing, 90 percent of the public does opposite of this. Thanks alot also keep posting non system plays to Pete

Thanks k-man. This was not the first time we had a lot of unis on the line in one night. There were probably a couple days when the system was down 25 units where we had the rest of the "bankroll" on the line (or close to it...I never calculated). I think there is a little confusion between bankroll and "units to start a system". For a system, you put aside what you're comfortable with losing and you go off of that. If it's $1000, then you divide that amount by 75 and that's your starting unit. My suggestion to start with 75 units really means that is the amount you should put aside for this system and you should be comfortable in a situation where all that money is in play. It should not be your entire gambling bank roll. The exposure is not as much as it seems on the surface...the way you put it, saying 25% of my bankroll is not really fair because this 75 units is nowhere near 100% of my bankroll. It's just the money I've put aside. For each person, that amount is different. So many people go broke playing systems because they start with a dollar amount that is way to high for them. When things get deep or there are many units on the line, they get uncomfortable and fold up shop.
That being said, you are correct, there is no question that anything can happen on any given day. There is a calculated risk involved here and once we are playing with house money we take liberties we might not normally take. I bumped those plays up a little yesterday specifically to take advantage of a situation where the system was giving us strong plays and we had the cushion to take a big swing. I never really mind having a lot of units on the line if they are spread out over several games. Risk vs. reward is a constant struggle for any gambler but I've learned to always stay within my means. If anyone who is following this system was uncomfortable with what was on the line yesterday, then their dollar amount per unit is too high. Also, anyone is free to adjust their units as they see fit each day. I posted a lot on my site about how the units posted for each play should be used as a guide. I often bet the posted plays much stronger than what is listed, but for record keeping, you have to have some standard to measure your progress.

Thanks for explaining that Leprechaun, that makes a lot more sense now. People playing this with their entire bankroll, rather than a piece of it like you mention, should take this advice to heart.

One last thought on this unit vs. dollar amount business because I wanted to make a comment about it earlier in the season. There is a reason I stay away from posting dollar amounts...I think it is very misleading. I notice a lot of people like to use $100 when displaying the amounts bet on their picks. It's common because it's a round number. Nobody likes to use $10, and I believe it's mostly because it doesn't sound as good. I don't think that's your case...your credibility stock is at 100% with me and your systems are proven. You also would never intentionally mislead people...but that is not the case for many in this forum.
My point is, there are very few people out there that can afford to play a chase system with $100 units. In my case it would mean you had $7500 put aside. For your RL system it would have to be more like $15,000. I don't see anywhere that you suggest units to start with (or at least I couldn't find it by glancing quickly) but on May 14th, your sheet had $1200 on the line. (You had another 5 units or so on the Top 7 system that day but I'll talk about just the RL system). If that bet missed...your next play would have been in the neighborhood of $2500. Even starting with $10,000, that would still be 25% of your bankroll (and that's for that one system). According to what you said, if you don't want to expose that much of your bankroll, I guess you would have to start with at least 15k...and even still you're talking 16% of your bankroll in that worse case scenario. If you don't want to expose a large percentage of your bankroll on any given day using that particular system, you're probably talking about starting 200 units. Saying "start with 200 units" sounds reasonable (although I think it's a lot) but saying "start with $20,000" would scare people away. According to what you said about not exposing 25% of your bankroll, that's about what you would have to have put aside if you truly were willing to chase 6 games. It's possible, as everyone's financial situation is different, but I hope you see my points...1) Almost every chase system has days where many units are exposed, and 2) posting dollar amounts can be misleading.
On the other hand, you can fudge around if you just post units too. Look at rizz's opening game favorite thread (a fine system by the way). It says the system is up over 100 units. However, look at the way he adds up the units. He has a labby lines that start 5-5-5-5 and when he gets a win he adds 10 units to his total. How many people are playing 10 units/game!? It's even more when the labby lines have losses added on to them. Labby lines are for dollar amounts, not units. By his math, my system is up 400 units for the year if I start my labby lines at 5-5-5-5. The bottom line of this post is that I really think people should make an effort to represent the true value of their system and not get too liberal with decimal points.

unit-------------------lose 1.8 units 4b. Padres RL (+120) to win 1
unit-----------------lose 1 unit
Total for June 19: 2-2, +2.9 units
***Notes***
Great job by the Yanks early to make the rest of the day stress
free. Still, we had the frustration of two 1 run losses and then Tampa
made us sweat at the end of the day. Luckily they got the win to keep
us in positive units. Thank God we didn't have Philly yesterday...I
might have broken something valuable if I saw a loss like that. Let's
finish this week up right.
****Record***
Overall SU record: 96-64, +44.7 units Overall SERIES record
(through June 20): 68-4
1. Detroit (-155) to win 2 units-----------win 2. Padres (-160) to win 2 units-----------------win 3. Cinci (-120) to win 2.4 units-------------lose 2.9 units
Total for June 20: 2-1, +1.1 units
***Notes***
Well, Cinci struggled to score runs in that series but we still
ended the week on a positive note. We were +17.4 units for the week
and we are now +51.9 units for June. Good stuff. We have one more
week of Interleague so let's keep blazing a trail. There are only 3
games on the board for Monday and we are just on the Yankees. Be very
careful with this play...an east coast team traveling west with no rest
day and playing at 10:00 can be dangerous.

That Yanks game was over after the 1st inning! At least we didn't
have to think much about it:) Let's get that back today. This is the
first day in awhile that I haven't been in love with the plays, but how I
feel doesn't matter...we play what the system gives us.

Boom. Was out most of the night and didn't really watch the scores.
I gotta admit I did a Tiger Woods style fist pump when I saw the board
and then saw the Yanks go final. Good night for us and we're over the
50 unit mark for the season. Still got work to do. Need to pick up
Minnesota today for starters. It's been a crazy sports day so far with the World Cup game and that epic Wimbledon match (and I don't even really like Tennis). Let's see what MLB can do to close out the night. For non-system
plays, I'll be doing a 2 game chase on TB starting tonight and I'm also on the over in that game for today only. Let's keep
it rollin.
