 Being as your probably the only guy around here who could help me with the thread i made, am going to gravel and ask you for your help.  Could you read my thread and help me with the question.

After reviewing your thread, I found the 'tables' to apply the Pythagorean MLB formula to get a 'true' line read was excluded from what you re-printed, without this information, it is virtually impossible to work a solution..That is the reasoning behind the confusion, and the answer as to why you could not understand it's concept of application....However; the complete formula, and a step by step format, with a complete index of tables applied, is at this site for your convenience, and as a courtesy on my behalf...Understanding, you are entering the sabermetrician approach to MLB handicapping which is the 'base' / 'tool' for connecting stats to MLB formulas(which are numerous) go to this site and do your research,  wikipedia.org/wiki/pythagorean_expectation   ......SN

So there is no way to work out the calculations that the guy got on that example game, with the info he posted? One last question for you.  What is this symbol in this problem and what do you do with it?  Is it multiply , divide or something else          (A^1.83)

 cd329 /  No, the information is incomplete, the tables are excluded...(but readily available on the Wikipedia Link) as is the explanation to the 'symbol' which means: per+equation#(this symbol is located on your formula calculator, click it, when this symbol needs to be activated)
