NEW CALCULATION ALERT

AS OF FEB 1ST, I NO LONGER WILL USE "ALL GAMES" AND INSTEAD WILL USE "CONFERENCE GAMES" WHEN APPLICABLE. Since conference play is well underway, I feel we should get better #'s as opposed to the overall category which goes back to the beginning of the season.

Late games on the regular card are pending.

I use statfox for  my power ratings adjustment. As far as the question of ytd record, I don't know. I've said it before and i'll say it again...this is not worth blindly tailing. You need to investigate further into each play to see if there are any injuries or other reasons for the line being "off". any typo's are either my fault or statfox's fault. please check to see what your shop is using. For large cards like tonight, I recommend playing differentials of 7+ after some due diligence.

I'll see if i get those late games up....

yes. by my #'s I have this as a pick'em. Portland does have a starting guard who may miss tonight due to an achilles, so that is enough for me not to play the game.

go to the matchups and select a game. About half way down at the bottom of the team statistics section you'll see :Average power rating of opponents played: PORTLAND 68.5,  GONZAGA 70.7

In this case, the power rating is within 3 points of each other. So you can say they've had similar strength of schedules = no adjustment. If on the other hand gonzaga's power rating of opp played was 73, then they would have a power rating 5 points better than portland, so I'd add 5 points for the Zags to adjust the calculation.
