That one stings a bit no doubt. No more tennis today as we are invested in hoops. Lord B and I will try to sniff out some W s for tomorrow.

Remember that time Lucky Lys was laying on the physio table when she got the LL call telling her she was taking the seeded spot of Kalinskaya and needed to be on court in ten minutes? Then she proceeds to storm into the AO round of 16.
Now she's worked her magic again and is taking Badosa's seeded spot (with bye) and faces Dolehide today. And this seems to be some next level brilliance from Lys too. Kartal was given the first lucky loser spot yesterday which was unseeded/no bye. Eva would have been first in line for that spot but obviously she didn't sign in for the alternate list for the first round.
But she did sign in for round 2 which made her first on the list. The other players adore her just like the rest of us so obviously she had foreknowledge regarding the Badosa situation. And she likely tanked against Niemeier too which was a win-win since it gave her compatriot a spot in the draw while Lys got the seeded spot.
With this kind of brilliance I would expect her to take full advantage against Dolehide.

Lys looks like a play to me as well.

trying to shrink mine at this point. NBA is up there with NFL as hardest league to cap for me. too many millionaire kids who pick and choose what nights they actually want to show up and play. been taking a beating in pro hoops this year...

NBA is very hard. Just like any else pick your spots and don’t play it everyday and definitely do not play anymore then two plays a night. If you hit your first one call it a day and be thankful.

Any winners are welcome here even snooker.

i think Jovic is probably the play for straight ML. Paolini had to retire from Dubai with an apparent bad ankle twist. Looked bad. Don’t think she is 100%. I could see Paolini losing in straight sets.
i like Kessler +5.5. I think its easier to surprise Sabalenka in the early rounds.
I’l throw something else: Potapova 1st set winner at +150.
