Had to, when you can't walk and your legs are shot you're done. Sad because he was playing great. Thanasi has a chance to be one of the best once Fed, Murray, Djok and some of these older players phase out.

Glad he did to save the bet. Would have been hell to lose that sort of bet because you bet on the one guy who gives a crap and tries to keep going when a lot of these guys drop out if their hair is out of place.

Knew I'd probably regret that WTA bet since I left out the winner, putting in what is probably gonna be a loser. Might try a WTA bet here and there this tournament, gotta stick to my gut on some of these and give it a whirl. 

Thank goodness Zverev recovered to get to the 5th. Got the best bet back in good shape.

Had Tsurenko to win over Safarova because Safarova looked totally out of gas on Saturday when she lost the New Haven final.

All spread bets and totals are void if they don't complete the full match.

Almost pulled the trigger myself, Tsuernko has really impressed me on hard courts this year.

Marco Baghdatis looks rejuvenated. I feel he has a great chance to make the semis as his bracket look s weak to me. If Baghdatis can keep his head i the game, he will be a threat to knock anyone out of this tourney. He is my dark horse.

If Zverev wins 300% hedge that match. While Troicki's worst surface is hard court, Frances can win but we'll see... He's never won a match in a major and he's still young. I would put up around $2600-2800 to guarantee myself a $850-1000 profit. If Tiafoe wins even better and you're win $2400-2609...

It's 300% up to you though, let Eagles chime in but, I'm sure he would say the same. You can't be greedy especially after going 4/4, you'd be real pissed I'm sure if Tiafoe loses... I think the best thing is to enjoy the match and guarantee yourself $850-2610 profit.

I would hedge.... It's the smart play being that your last leg could be a 2.5 to 1 underdog.... Just my two cents... Good luck whatever way you go

Yes and yes. Just a gut feeling that the crowd isn't going to give two craps about his past. They want a good match. I think he will feed of their energy if he can get it going early. Of course, Murray could straight set him easily like he has, but my gut says Over 34 to cover in case it gets done in 3 sets by chance. +2.5 at + money is an okay option though if you like it

Regardless...hedging is for gardeners.  Why bet a 5 teamer if you plan on hedging on the last leg?  Better to bet a 4 teamer and not look to throw 2000+ on a favorite to come out a couple dollars on top...you will learn once you become a veteran in this gambling game

There is a huge difference between a couple dollars and 1k ..Hedging would provide a profit of 10 units at min and not having to sweat ending up with nothing..Of course it would differ depending on the money at risk/potential winnings but It was a no brainer in this particular situation..
