@P.Picker - Definitely has made the day more exciting! To be honest I only have around 2K bankroll for sports betting, so I only did tiny $5 units for $55 bet with the 11 combos, still a nice payout if had all hit for sure (Just maybe instead of hookers & Blow it would be Lap dances & drinks for me with the smaller units lol) .. I managed to grab GW+3.5 live and threw down $100 on it hoping to hit a middle with SL win by 1-3, all while locking in some value earned from SL's performance. I see what you mean about it being person to person and situational when it comes to hedging, and for me since I am trying to build a bankroll, I may lean towards doing them here and there. Thanks again for everything, and go Auburn!

what about parlaying the 1h instead of full game for some of these dogs. Most of the time when a dog wins they have the lead at halftime, but many times a dog will be leading at ht then lose it in the 2h. Just a thought after seeing what happened in the St louis game.

@smart - you can sub in the 1H but they don't have the value of the higher odds. That said, would have been a winner today. In any case, if you are risk adverse, using the 1H for some of the higher odds (+700 and up) is generally within the ethos of the system.

not sure what they payout wouldve been...but so far all 3 dogs (GT, ST louis and Auburn) have been leading at HT.
Have to figure a +900 dog like St louis wouldve been +500 to be leading at half.

Just a tip with betting straight up +money dogs. It might be better to play 1st half money lines on them. You might get a shorter +money lines but you don't get the bullshit end of game fouls and last second shot to beat you or the refs to be against you. Would be 3-0 in here today and I can name numerous other dogs that won the half lost the game.

@stang - While it's true today had a lot of 1st have dog hits, I've found it to be disproportionate to the decreased odds. Because...
@smart - The first half line for SLU was +360. The books recognize the reduction in odds isn't linear (a +900 game isn't +450) so you will inevitably pay for it. That said 100% of 0 is zero, so your point is valid. Still all rooted in picking the right games to begin with!

This thread reminds me of the Mr. Bator days....he was always posting dogs. I've copied and pasted all your directions for future reference and understand the betting method however I'm still not sure about how you go about finding the "value" in your dogs. Can you explain a bit more about the difference between the spread and ML again that provides value? Thanks!!

@jrock - I will get into more depth on a future post regarding extracting value from deep dogs in parlays and why it may be the only approach where you can beat the house. Regarding more about how I pick the games... I would, but to be fair, that's "how the sausage is made", and where all the value lies. If I do decide to become a handicapper, I'd like to think of my methodologies (or IP) as proprietary, as I may decide to sell my picks. To that end, feel free to add me as a friend to tail as long as I keep them free. But for now, let's ride the wave and have some fun watching hoops!

Well done sir. I've always been to ignorant to learn how RR's work. After seeing your thread I went and researched it, found my bets and about to cash a nice chunk of change from Auburn. Thank you sir.

I parlayed the remaining games based off your leans and original picks but didn't risk much so if it loses its all good. I will continue to monitor this thread as I've never seen anyone with the guts to use this sort of method. Missed out on the earlier games.

Big congrats to everyone who played along today! If you followed my instructions, you made a 100% return on your money, and are looking at a nearly 3000% return if LMU beats BYU. In my case, I bet $550 and netted $1100 so far. Here's the ticket:
I had a relaxing day today, got to watch some games, doubled my money, and now get to dig in for one last game to win $14,000. Anyone else here tail and win? Add me as a friend to stay in touch and keep up with my picks. Big night ahead!

Great work and love the angle. Would of been amazing to start at the beginning of this week too. It seems to have been a dog week in CBB and NBA. I missed on tailing today but I am excited to see what is next!
