Just a thought that I hope helps create a format agreeable to those of you that have created so much success.
I like the thought.
First off, everyone that visits this lounge should all pat yourselves on the back because we have not let ego's, bad picks, or personalities get in our way. Thanks to Angle, Moth, The Chase Pirate, Q-Bun, and all the regular contibutors and that are too many to name that have brought value to this forum that McShady and I started back in 2011. If you think about it, we really have created something quite unique.
When I post a loser, I'm pissed because I lost money and then made because all of you lost.as well. We I win I get satisfaction of knowing I helped my "fellow degenerates."
I spend a garbage load of time every day researching baseball and quite honestly I would do it even if I was not a gambler because I am a sabermetrics geek. . So I really don't want you to pay for my time but what if I make this time I spend pay off for all of us.
Here's our idea. If McShady and I do ask for compensation for the information we share, I want to use that money to wager more into the system we created. You can wager on your own of course with the information we supply, but, what if we created a gambling mutual fund. I want to create an "investment club" where you would get a return on your investment. If the investment busts then no return but if it grows then you get a ROI.
McShady and I have the discipline to run this for you guys and we only want the guys who share our passion for make money not making bets and also understand there is a risk involved in any investment! I think this will work and we would create shares with a weekly/daily of price per share based on the amount o fmoney in the accounts.. We just need to make an IPO and get this thing off the ground. More later. Think about it and give me your feedback.

VERY INTERESTING AND EXCITING IDEA AND OPPORTUNITY.
As a group and more importantly to Semper and McShady, we must be VERY careful of any tax issues. As the IRS just ruled yesterday, federally Illegal activities like selling medical pot by a storefront (even where legalized by a state) the revenue will be taxed and the expenses will NOT be deducable.
That's why a person should never run a survivor or office pool. In the eyes of the IRS, you could collect $100,000 ($1,000 per square) and give it all back to the winners. If the IRS finds out, you owe the tax on $100,000.
Same for this idea, gambling wins are taxible, gambling losses are not. THE EXCEPTION, DOCUMENTED bets in Las Vegas and probably Atlantic City.
The good news is eventually most states will alllow online gambling, they need the tax revenue. Our newspaper had a big article yesterday.
Don't mean to be a doggie downer, but one must prepare for these things or atleast make it part of the conversation.
AND after all that is said, the IRS most likely won't be able to figure anything out...
My 2 cents...
BOL to all
