If douthit won't play we might get a dd spread? Maybe right? But for sure we're the dogs. The 3rd and 4th place will also be a nice game to watch! Uptempo kind of game + shoot out! Hard to cap that game

Great effort by Gilas. Everyone played with a lot of heart especially Pingris. Jason, Jimmy and Ranidel were clutch and Gabe had his usual steady game. Cho #10 being in foul trouble spelled the difference for Korea, he is a big part of their offense and was out of sorts the whole game, credit that to Gabe's defense and impressive switching by Gilas. Great great effort. Props to La as well. That ddo was really at its best today. All 3 pgs played extremely well and was almost perfect,
As for tommorrow, I heard from Marcus' interview that he won't go for sure. I do feel as well that Gilas' main goal here is to qualify for the worlds which they already achieved. So if I were to bet I might go with Iran here for the finals but it would be hard for me to play against a very inspired Gilas. But I do think Gilas would be in a celebratory mood and might not have the same effort tommorrow, they could be spent after a very emotional win today.
Best bet for me would be Korea if the odds would be within 5. I feel these guys are very disciplined and would be focused from the get go to claim that final berth for the worlds.

i 1st thought of ph as lucky. but after they shoot 3s like this vs kazak and still keep hitting 3s on korea even with height i am now a beleiver of this team. lets just see the odds tommorow if the books give 10 and up im for ph.

I dont see why you guys are writing off Korea. IMO, they are second to Iran in terms pf how well they perform in the tourney. The game were never out of reach for them. It's really tough to beat a Philippine team on a good night. The team is forcing the opponents' bigs to beat them than their shooters and its paying dividends. Making them work affects their performance on both ends. It's also tough to beat a team that shoots better than 50%.

I agree 100%. Korea is a good disciplined team that plays very good defense. They thrive on turnovers and miscues and pound on them. Only edge I see for Taipei is its experience and Davis. One key for Korea is Taiwan does not have lightning quick guards like Castro who can break down that shifting zone defense of Korea.
If I can get a -4 on Korea I'll put in a big play on it but if it stays at -5 or -6 I might play it small or medium.
As for others Jor-Kaz game is a game of two unpredictable teams, hard to cap.
Qatar-China, I don't trust a qatar team without its best player and another rotation player in Saeed. China has been up and down all tourney.
Iran-Gilas, its odd to bet against your own team, but this is about making money and I don't think an injured Gilas is a good bet here. Iran also lost Bahrami to injury, he's playing on one knee as others are saying so its still a toss up. Right now it stands at -15.5 at bet 365, if it climbs to around 17-20, Gilas would have good value. It opened at -12.5 btw. But knowing local bookies they will adjust that line by 1 to 1.5 less for Gilas as they know Gilas usually gets pounded by local bettors.
