Okc had their chances to cover the 2.5 ...... Westbrook last shot could've been called a foul .....
Although I did not wager on that game - I did lean OKC plus the points and Under. Well, OKC didn't have to let that situation to happen and count on last seconds foul to be called on a home team for 3 points. Durant was wrong to take that 3 pointer going nowhere... First half the Thunder did not play at all Durant and Westbrook combining for 16 together. They had few spans of few minutes without scoring (like Miami) and at all the coaching staff did not manage the game like they were supposed and Miami who was very weak today - won and covered. The interesting point was the technical on Westbrook in last seconds that allowed Miami to cover the second half spread (+0.5). The bottom line is that the Thunder and Miami both played basketball those kind of offensive powers have to play to get the Under - and they got it. Notes? None. Nothing we did not know before.

Had a good day yesterday going 4-1, cashed on that Laker under! Thinking about putting all the profit on a 6 game parlay, any suggestions?
I am more into solid betting BigUnit. I know sometimes big parlays can be very profitable, but the key word is "sometimes" while I'm more of a "most of the times" kind of a bettor. GL on your parlay anyway and will be glad to hear what you have in mind.

Ok. So recapping yesterday. I had 4 leans: Under on the Celtics @ the Nets, Under on NYK @ LAL, Under on OKC @ Miami and OKC plus the points. I played the second half of the Celtics @ the Nets Under cashing on a profitable line presented at the halftime which was a point higher than the original opening line which has dropped 4 points before the game and won that bet by 20 points. The bet on a whole game was a bet on Under in the Staples Center and won that under as well by 20 points. In my book - those kind of wins are the wins I'm looking for. Not a last second thriller when we depend on the refs and the free throws but the solid plays that you can just lay back in a sofa and enjoy the game knowing all those pros are working for you and your money. I stayed away from other two leans and also stayed away from the game that my hands were itching to wager on: I wanted to wager on Denver plus the points and the Under and bot I'm glad I did not. I told myself - you have two wins today and now are going to play a popular play which you're not convinced totally in its high probability - so stay away! That I have been advocating here all the time - the game you didn't lose is as sweet as the game you won. Because at the end of the month - we'll be counting the money made and not remembering the thrills we did not get because we stayed away from some highly publicized game. That is the way I am going continue to wager! GL

I hear you about starting the new thread, but I have a reason to maintain this format for posting my picks as well as constantly reminding to stay disciplined and not to play into the hands of the books by betting compulsively. When people go through the "crap" (your terminology - not mine) including the comments of the people who for no reason object my posts and at the same time reading my responses which are not hostile in no way - I hope to create some community of the bettors who value the same things I do and come in here to exchange the views and support each other to maintain the discipline necessary to turn the gambling into profitable. I'll do my part of selecting the plays and the rest will have to do theirs by staying disciplined. I know it sounds bombastic at times but I'm counting on wisdom of many rather than stupidity of few.

Ah, OK. My strongest lean is Under in SA. I like the Bucks too. Not as much as the Under in SA thou. I'm also looking at Under in Orlando. I like the Under in College Football today as well. Did not finalize any plays yet -but those are my leans. I have some assumptions about where the totals will be headed in a first half and if that goes through - I might hit some Second Half totals in NBA. Now I'm working on sides to see where is the safest pick in NBA on those. GL
