Mavin what should be the correct format and timing of 2H bets- During this week I am 10-2 on second half totals but I don't think posting them here helps much because I get them at the last possible second because I am interested in line movements and looking at the teams attitude etc. I started with a post last week about what I think about over and under and how there may be some patterns. Did not get much attention so I figured that it was not of much interest to the group.

I have the same reservations about posting it as you do - if there's no reasoning cause no time left and there's no time for no one to tail - the only outcome is boosting our egos and that is not why we're here. But - if you manage to post them with at least 5-7 left for people to tail and you also will have an argumentation - I have no problem with that. But as you stated it is hard to follow the line movement and at the same time to track and post with reasoning. May be you should start here another contest for second half picks - but you will soon find out that the administration will kill you capping.

Look at that those two trends... They did beat an extremely short handed Spurs last night, but a good guess for today would be a loss for the Timberwolves, even without all the strong Pacers trends.

·         Timberwolves are 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. win.

·         Timberwolves are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 games following a ATS win.

 

We all know Bulls are the one team that performs better on the road than at home.  The Kings are competing without Cousins (their leading point and rebound getter).  I agree that it frees up Noah to continue to provide offensive production (it looks so ugly, but it scores).  No huge trend lean here, just think the Bulls are battling for playoff contention while the Kings are competing for their Lottery Pick!

 

Clippers well rested and Grizzlies coming off game last night.  I know that the Grizzlies are one of the hottest ATS winners at the moment but please take a close look at who they were playing and covering against.  Clippers have already proven they can beat the Grizzlies by more than 6 twice this year.

·          Clippers are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games playing on 2 days rest.

·          Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games.

wizards at home are still deadly in my opinion at home and team rankings and number fire have them winning this game..
clippers i'll go with the flow on this one, liked big units idea earlier, and someone backed it up with that extremly large 4th qtr por-mem last night on road again clips should make a statement in potential future playoff matchup.. so ya thanks phixer, thanks big unit, did research of my own and with my info and your info i feel good bout going atleast 2-1 today. thanks men and good luck!!

The game in LA is for me one sided Clips win because of the way they can handle tired Grizzlies team after the travel from Portland and the game they played there last night. The Grizzlies will slow the pace down while the Clips will run it up. The result fits with those both tendencies. Under and the Clips covering.
The lline in Sacramento is very funny and reminds m,e of those guys trying to lure you into the strip clubs in Amsterdam (not that I need much luring LOL). Vegas is begging to get on Chicago side and I say  - NO.

my capper picked 76ers and atlanta. In regards to Indiana under I think timber wolves i think they will be exhausted from playing spurs and playing a hungry indiana team that can be stingy on defense... Its my first post on here, but i like the reading everyones thoughts I thought I would share aswell. Good luck!

love your thoughts on kings game.. i wanted to bet kings too so bad! but heard no demarcus cousins.. so imma just stay away.. but i do agree that taking CHI seems like a sucker bet..

OKC's foul mood after the loss to the Spurs and their home dominance has the potential for a blow out vs a weak road team especially if Millsap is not 100%.

My thoughts exactly- my explanations though are derived from patterns as explained in a post before- If I continue to do well I will just set a set of rules that I will follow then just post the picks if there are 5 or more minutes left.

Wednesday is a square night especially after Yesterday - so I'd go with square plays tonight.

LA Lakers -1.5

The Lakers are a better team in any parameter and finally are playing the basketball they're expected. The Hawks are injured and depleted. I know the risk I'm taking going against Phixer - but that is fun. WTF is Phixer??? I'm better than him!!!  LOL  (no offense - just a challenge LOL). Deep inside I'm all shaking. How will I be received by a reveered audience for whom Phixer is a guru. Well, let me tell you - for me too. I remember that guy forever and I don't think challenging him is a wrong thing to do. I'M up to it. At least on this game.

DEN Nuggets -8.5

When the Nuggets play at Denver - even ex Nugget Knicks can feel the pressure. Or actually no pressure from the thin air at those heights. I was on practice from  my student years in that place just to feel the difference and that was amazing. The legs are lighter and there's a competition for every aunce of the air getting into the lungs. In other words - the Nuggets are hard to beat at home and they're worth laying 98.5 points IMO.

BOS Celtics -5

Now, this bis a square game for me in a lots of ways. The most corrupted team in NBA with a mafia rep Paul Pierce knows that what they did Yesterday made lots of people to lose their money and now the same people are in against with much lesser money they lost . So as the regular American Mafia guys like - let them bleed slowly and don't kill them altogether. Let the people win a little - anyway we'll take that away in few games losing to another trash team.

LA Clips - I reasoned this before- I expect the Grizz to be tired- will depend on the perimeter shooting of the Clips- I expect them to Lay about 100 and the grizz in the 88-90 area.

DEN Nuggets - Despite the end result the games against OKC should have been a lot more lobsided back in NY. Nuggets are fast as if not faster than OKC what does that mean? The knicks will need a Melo, Jr. mighty effort to keep this close. I will take a track team against a mid court basketball at home on most days. Like I said I am trying to find out when the Nuggets, OKC, Spurs and Heat will lose their next home game- I don't think this is it and I expect a good showing from the Nuggets I.e like the game against the Clips.

The last one well am just tailing Phixer on this one for the most part but LA won back in LA on a very tight game, this is payback so hopefully the revenge factor is there and LA on a back to back may not be all there.
