These are my gleanings from the G.S.E. thread. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the G.S.E. Strategy is simply a 6 game chase with up to 4 chases going on at any one time. A chase series is characterized by the letters A thru F. An example, let us say JeffTheHat announces that Oakland is tomorrow's play in a new chase. That would be an OAK (A) play. You would then find a book or a local bookie and bet your hard earned LIFE'S SAVINGS on Oakland. If it's the dog, you play the +1.5 Run line If it's the Favorite, then you play the Money line If you don't understand the difference, you are a complete moron for being here, you need to google MLB betting 101 and read up on baseball wagering basics. Once you understand those basics then you can then rejoin this thread and possibly pass as a Sharpie depending of course on how rude you can be and whether or not you can spell.
Ok, moving on, let us say also OAK lost the series (A) play and you lost that bet. I highly recommend after losing your life's saving after this (A) play that you DO NOT announce this in the forum. First of all, everyone on this thread is obligated in calling you the f..king loser that you are. Unfortunately, too, no one is going to want to be your friend because you are a “f...king loser”. These are things to consider Obviously you don't want to be a “f..king loser”. You want to be a winner, right? There's still hope for you, but remember you could eventually lose all 6 Oakland games (A, B, C, D, E, and F) in which case at this stage in your betting career you would be a “total f...king loser.”
Next you have to come up with a “bankroll” and a betting strategy. Hopefully your mommy will bankroll you behind in time for the next OAKLAND play which could conceivably be the second game of a double header! (I just learned that.) It could happen, and in your case could impose a funding issue on the OAK (B) play. You must be prepared for it (remember you just bet every f...king dime you had on that (A) play and LOST). In this event, you may wish to alert your mommy about the possibility of securing an advancement on your weekly allowance ensuring she understands it will be on her shoulders that you're such a loser (and not a winner) because of this minor funding issue.
Think of all this as just a minor setback in your career, a learning experience if you will, and now just water under the bridge. Furthermore some betters would overreact over such an event knowing it was a sure bet, realizing too late that there was a very very small chance of losing anything according to Hat's numbers, and that your local bookie will most likely NOT entertain your request for a refund unless of course you maintain the lethal fire power of a seal team. I suspect you are unaware of this, so I completely understand how one would, justifiably, feel so ripped off as well as feel compelled to make rash statements regarding this experience on the G.S.E. thread. Don't go there. Trust me.
Let's move on again, the next Oakland play will be OAK (B) and it will be announced beforehand by the Hat. Do you remember how to bet the dog and fav? Good, just like betting the OAK (A) play as I understand. If you happen to win this upcoming Oakland (B) series, then the chase is over for Oakland and the Hat will be inventing a new chase using a new team (like Colorado) for all us Sharpies. In fact Hat will be announcing other plays, too, on up to 4 different team chases. This is a cash cow. You can not lose.
Now that you know exactly how this strategy plays just get yourself a bankroll somewhere. Secondly, find yourself a good betting strategy. There's plenty right here in the thread. And lastly, just follow the dots that Mr. Hat lays out. It's called the G.S.E. 6 game chase. Up to 4 teams MAY be tracked at a time. There MAY be a play everyday, but not necessarily. Furthermore, if you have a question about System 1 or System 2, or Rotation, that's on the other thread. This is the G.S.E. thread.
As a note and warning, you probably noticed after reading the last 20 pages of this thread that there are a number of “betting purist” who have taken it upon themselves to warn us of the vile and evil nature of JeffTheHat's systems and betting strategies. Apparently these folks have devoted their lives trying to convince the members of Jeff's satanic desires, his lust for power, his need for control, his greed, and his ambition to takeover the world and then the universe. Apparently, we are told, Jeff has issues. These purest hold themselves highly as the models of sports handicapping. I suspect many were once themselves “f..king losers” and possibly “total f...king losers” and are now trying to redeem themselves. Their systems were rejected by those that followed them, they bore no fruit, they were unprofitable and are now friendless. They are unable to carry a thread of their own, are jealous of the Hat, and want to take down “the tall poppy” through hijacks, disruptions, and personal attacks. These are haters. Sadly they continue to drink the same koolaid that waylaid them in their miserable careers, and they feel compelled to “save us”. Seek shelter from them.
